Playing Ping 812 -  great club, problem is he is five feet three inches.  Shaft is for sure short for him by at least an inch, maybe 2.  Plus it is 15 degrees loft.
Swing speed 75 -80   Ball balloons and dies. Looking for more more distance and a better ball flight.

Options -
Just put in a Flynn 43 inch shaft and call it good. Still 15 loft though.

New driver -
F8 junior for 12-14 YO.  Junior flex 43.25 inches.
Ping G400 - ordered with 43 or 43.5 ladies flex shaft.
Open to other options and any opinions.

I am. It worried about price.  We just need to hit it longer !!!!

Don’t care about price. We just need 20 more yards off the tee!!!!

Just for a good read: https://thejuniorgol...r-golf-drivers/

If you are going to buy new, I'd be headed to the nearest store to try at many different drivers with different shafts.  Whether you go F8, G400 or M4 or other, it will come down to which club/shaft combo performs the best to your junior's swing.

Callaway Golf Preowned - 25% off any one item using code PLAYERS

Get yourself an Epic with 'light flex' shaft for $270 + the discount.  Don't worry about the condition... I picked one that was 'average' and it came basically brand new with just a few scuff marks on the bottom.  Take it to your local golf shop and have them cut it to the appropriate length.

Cobra Junior with the free shaft upgrade for when he outgrows the lighter one is a very good choice.
FYI the ladies and junior Cobra heads are the same and 10g lighter than the men's. Just different colors. You may find a ton of options using that dynamic. The gray head isn't girly at all. Nobody goofs him.  We went that route with an F-6 two years ago with 10.5* loft. Now at 14 and 5'7" he still plays that driver but it has a Matrix Ozik mens regular flex shaft less 1/2"  and he is killing it. Of course that doesn't stop him from hitting everything in the store at PGASS.
Go hit that F-8 yourself and you will buy your kid a Cobra driver.

Go to Budget Golf, order the $299 F8 junior driver with the 43" shaft with free shipping. Put in the 15OFFTHP code and get it for $254 shipped. When you get it, register with Cobra and send in for your free shaft. Get the 45.25" Adult shaft and be done with it. Play with the lofts and weights, and guarantee it will be 20-30 longer than his current.

At that height and swing speed, I think its time to head to ebay and find a driver with a senior shaft that is a few seasons old.  You may even be able to get one that is new at a good price.  Cut it down to the length that would be appropriate.  Probably 43 or 44 inches for a boy who is 5' 3".  Look for a 12 degree driver.  They are easy to find in senior flex.  I strongly advise against ladies flex clubs.
