Let us get it straight. There four majors in Men's Golf. As there are four majors in Tennis. When someone asked Sandy Lyle what he thought the difference was between his 85 Open and 87 Players he answered "about 100 years".
Great event, some great holes (16th is one of my all time top holes) but not a major. Hope they have redone the short par 4 they ruined last year. My money is in Jason Day.

While we're bitching about things to be/not be majors...lets make the API a major. Major everything!

Si Woo Kim, Adam Scott, Martin Kaymer is an underrated grouping.  I'd love to see Scott on his game again.

Tiger said he's always struggled at The Player's...

He has 2 wins and is tied for the best all time scoring average. I guess that's when you know you're good/have high standards.

Tiger could barely walk off the practice green and back to his car. His back was tight, or hurt, it was something. He was defiantly laboring. Unfortunately, weve seen this movie before. I really hope its nothing.

14 and 15 are yawns. There always have to be holes like that even on the best courses. 14 and 17 at Augusta. Otherwise a lot of drama at Sawgrass, epic finish. Rickys late charge and victory is probably the greatest moment in later years. For me and my fellow countrymen Stensons win a decade ago together with good ol Fanny was maybe the biggest Scandinavian win at the time.

#14 at Augusta and TPC are excellent golf holes, hardly yawn inducing.
I`ve seen many polls for best holes at last 9 at Augusta, very few people prefer 14 or 17. On holes like that everyone hits fairway, everyone hits green, noone makes birdie. Might be fun to play yourself but produces none whatsoever TV drama. And they look boring too, just like any hole.

Players is not a Major. But it's just after a Major. When people over here talked about biggest Scandinavian wins before High Noon at Troon, Stensons Players victory was mentioned more than the FedEx win.

carnoustie this year will suit Bubbas game.....you heard it here first ;)

Bubba never had a top 20 on a links, and Carnoustie is the hardest one, he also didn't play the weekend half of the time. Why you think so?

Links courses should fit Bubba's game with his creativity and ability to move the ball, but I think they get in his head, particularly with the potential for weather.

Problem is links fescue is no "second cut" ;)
