Little backstory... I was playing a fair amount of golf the last few years and about six or so months ago I decided to take a break to clear my head of all the equipment and marketing this game has all of a sudden adopted. After my break I was really itching to get back out on the course and decided that I wasn't just going to drop another $750+ on a good used set and that I would have fun beating the crap out of my friends with a cheap set. So I went on eBay and gave myself a $200 spending limit to create a bag worthy of doing some damage. With the help of some very old forum pages (some still running lol) I was able to do some search and research with what was available. I wasn't worried about conforming grooves as I don't play in big tournaments anymore since I'm done with college golf. I still play at around a 3-4 handicap even though I've become more of a weekend warrior since graduating from college. So I was really looking for a player's set.

Here's the results: (prices include shipping)

Driver: Adams 9015D Prototype (9.5 Degrees) - $29.99
Shaft: Grafalloy Prototype (BiMatrix) - X-Stiff
Specs: 45 Inches

IMG_2085.JPG
IMG_2088.JPG

3 Metal: Titelst 904F (15 Degrees) - $26.48
Shaft: Fujikura Fit-On! PRO95 (made for) - S (bore-thru)
Specs: 42.5 Inches

IMG_2081.JPG

Irons: Maxfli Revolution Blacks (4-PW) - $57.08
Shafts: Dynamic Gold S300
Specs: 1 Degree Flat

IMG_2079.JPG
IMG_2078.JPG

Wedges: Titleist Vokey (SM54.10/260.08) - $37.00
Shafts: Dynamic Gold S200
Specs: Standard L/L/L

IMG_2074.JPG

Putter: Ping Anser - $29.77
Grip: Iomic Standard
Specs: 34.5 Inches

IMG_2072.JPG

Grips: Royal Grip X-TREME V Standard (+2 wraps)
(I believe these were $2.99 per on The Golfworks and was a buy 6 get 6 free!) - $17.94

Ball: Whatever I dig out of my collection...still using up my stash of Srixon Z-Star XVs

Total came out to: $198.26...with grips!

I've played a few rounds so far this year and I'm having a blast! The zero offset on the rev blacks looks incredible and plays like forgiving super soft blades! The 9015D is a monster off the tee. Everything else simply speaks for itself. I'm gonna keep gaming these for as long as they'll stay together!

Thanks for reading!

That 9015D was and still is no joke. I loved that head. It has such a classic shape and sits a little open. For a while Adamís made the best drivers for my game.

12 clubs? No WRX'er would ever be caught with only 12 clubs? Ha, nicely done. I like your style. Game I'm sure will speak for itself.

Funny enough I have always carried 13 and couldn't get myself to cram in another stick just to have it. All I did this time was drop the 3 iron so we'll see how much this impacts the gaps! That three wood is pretty short so it really doesn't leave much room between the 4 iron and 3 wood lol

The only thing would sub out is the wood.  I hit a TEE XCG5 3 wood today at Edwin watts today. Almost grabbed it at 29.99 for the memories. It was short the PingG400 by about 10 yards on the monitor, but felt so smooth off the face. I feel like a Rapture could also be subbed in for about the same cost as well.
