My mom lives there. I have only played the Grand Bear which is a very good Nicklaus tract. My understanding is that there are some good courses in the area. And with the casino boom I would expect there will be more in the future. I have never checked but it seems it might be pretty close to the RTJ golf trail in Alabama but really don't know.

Get your clubs from a good friend of mine at Nevada Bob's in Gulfport. 3 or 4 miles from Biloxi. He's really cool. PM me for his name. Golf is not bad on the coast, but it ain't Hawaii
I live on Hilo side of Big Island...Everywhere has better golf than here. I have to drive two hours for a decent course...It is also one of the rainiest places in the US...I love this place but the golf is terrible...

Lots of options. Best track is Grand Bear. Casino owned but not limited to guests. When I was there in March I saw a sign that said memberships were available. Great place, condition, etc.
Also check out the Oaks in Pass Christian. Memberships there too. I like it.
Shell Landing east of Biloxi very nice, too.
Fallen Oak is for Beau Rivage guests only. Cost is over 300 bucks.
Lots of lower cost options, too.
Summer is brutal. Watch out for big waves named Katrina!
I enjoy golf in Biloxi are very much. Go there often for golf and gambling.

Just moved here 2 months ago, and all I do is play 5/6 days a week. The Grand Bear has a 2,500 membership. All you can play no cart fee (closed tuesday) for 365 days from date of purchase. This is the best deal in town. I joined. Shell Landing has a "trail fee" but will pro-rate you for the year. Shell's greens are not as good as the Bear's. The back nine at Shell has a few issues (minor for most, but noticable). You can buy a "player's card" for Shell Landing and get a reduced rate. The Oaks has a "player's card" with a current green fee of 36.00. This is a good deal. The upside of The Oaks is they have Hooter's girls for cart girls. The downside is that it is managed by OB Sports who will gladly pack it in like sardines, but for 36.00 with cart who is complaining? The Preserve is good, but not much of a deal for locals at about 100.00 a round. Fallen Oak is real nice, best practice facility in town and great course, have to stay at The Beau Rivage or know somebody. The Bridges has a cool layout. Great Southern has gone to hell, avoid this one. It all depends on how far you want to drive. I hope this helps.
