Scuff is whatever. Cut, though, it reason to abandon or donate to the pond / shag bag and use for chipping practice.

What I don't like, is the TP5 covers. They show marks and make the ball just look horrible after a few holes. My vice pro+ get cuts every wedge shot. Kirklands get dinged up too.

I have OCD as well so yeah, it kinda sucks but, I also have 20 dozen balls in my closet. I am just looking for reasons to retire them now.

Even though I can't stand Titleist Pro V1s / Xs, they seem to just have the cover formula down. They're robust and work. The new chromesofts are very good as well. Wilson always had a good formula as well.

Nike Tour Plat / Black showed a lot of wear.

If it gets scuffed it is immediately demoted to the shag bag. If it is scuffed badly it receives the death sentence. It will be chipped into a lake or flopped into the woods. I make sure all the other balls witness all executions! This encourages them to stay away from cart paths, rocks or anything else that can scuff them.

I suggest you put them into bin rather than hitting them into woods/lakes.

I won't use a scuffed ball off the driver.
