The first time I've seen the G400s in a pro bag.  They do look good for SGI irons.  I know he was a G15 user all those years ago, so I'm not surprised.

Love the fact that a K.J has won 22 professional golf tournaments (8) on the PGA tour, he's 47 which is not old and playing super game improvement clubs that some on Golfwrx would not even look at. Awesome..By the way K.J was the original O.G that started the super stroke craze.. people thought he was nuts? he needs putter grip from super stroke Reparations:)

Seeing KJs putters make me wonder why I get so hung up on the amount of toe hang, arc, alignment aids and if I should play an insert or milled putter.
Here he has a face-balanced mallet insert, a blade with a lot of toe hang with a sightline on the top line and a moderately toe-balanced(I would assume) blade that is milled with no sightline.

The shafts are too stiff for me, otherwise it would be hand in glove.  Even the right color code.

I love seeing what KJ has in the bag because he can play anything week to week and score.  I remember several years ago he had back to back weeks where he finished 3rd place in the Houston Open (I think that's the tournament the week before Augusta- or at least was at that time) and then the very next week 4th at The Masters.  He played the original Nike blades with orange MFS Matrix graphite shafts at Shell and the very next week at The Masters he used PING G15 irons 3-PW, UW, SW and finally a Ping Tour-W 58 bent to 59.  Think of all the offset and soles in those irons & wedges all the way down to the sand wedge and the week before he was using pure blades 3-PW and of course the Nike wedges as well.  I just find that fascinating... his bag setup at Augusta that year was crazy: TaylorMade driver with a Matrix Black Tie, TaylorMade 19 degree hybrid set open with a Matrix shaft, then PING G15 irons 3-PW, U, S and PING Tour-W 59 all with DG S400's... and his Odyssey Tri-Hot #2 he has always played.  No 3-wood at Augusta just a strong hybrid... 10 PING G15 irons on Augusta's super tight lies... just a crazy cool setup.

Its even cooler when he tore it up the week before... tiny Nike muscleback blades with 95 gram graphtie shafts to huge offset thick sole PING irons with 132 gram steel shafts...

I love his wood setup here, I'd love to game the G400 woods with black DI's...

The putter shaft he is using is from a new company based in Dallas, called BreakThrough Golf Technology. I was lucky enough to test one of the prototype shafts and it is the real deal. I have a feeling he will not be the last pro to give this shaft a try.

Thanks for this! Kind of a tricky name they chose, but I wish them success. Are you able/allowed to share any information of what it's about?

I have so many questions. What is this? It looks like an Anser and a ZB mated. And it looks great. On the PING website they call it the "ZB3" - How many ZB variations do they have?

How did he get PING to use some black insert?

Is that the popular #4 neck?

I was asked no to go into to detail about the shaft at the moment. All I can say is that when I was shown the science behind it and when I got to play with it and everything I was told was backed up, I became an instant fan.

No details, no website...

Probably not a great plan with the shafts getting some play on tour. Initial interest will peak and then subside if nobody knows anything. Maybe they are trying to create some "mystery" or something. Well, it's a golf shaft. Bold move.
