There are two new sets of wedges, one the same $200 per club and the other a "Tour" wedge for $280.

One improvement is that these two models each has all even numbered lofts from 48 to 60 degrees...the C, Y and "Wedge Series" had a more limited number of lofts.

Another posting said that three new iron models were coming out in 2018.

The 2018 standard edition wedge is out now.  The tour wedge should be available this coming week.

I wonder if they are gonna still take Special Orders.

Mr. Miura would take on several: 1 Irons, 2 Irons, Custom Wedges, etc.

Curious to know if they still will. I've asked several times on several different occasions and still haven't gotten an answer.

... I'd like to get a 64 from the new Tour Line.

Here are the 2 different wedges offered for 2018. The new Tour Wedge has a different grind and milled grooves. Same S25C soft carbon steel in both but the milled grooves make a big difference according to Miura. Not sure theyre worth an additional $80 ($200 vs. $280 for the Tour Wedge).

Quick question about tourspec, do they always run the 20% off promotion around the Christmas holiday period?

What kind of grinds do these wedges have? Are they similar to a C or Y, or are they just standard grinds made to fit all?

I went to demo days at Haggin Oaks in Sac a few weeks ago, and Miura had a booth.
I saw the Tour wedge in person. I liked the sole grind, but the leading edge was a little too straight for me, but it does round off at the toe.
I still prefer the rounder leading edge of the "new" wedge now the "2018 wedge series" with more basic graphics.
I asked the Miura guy about the C, K, and Y wedges, and he said Miura is only keeping the K series and discontinuing the C and Y series.
This is bad news to me, because I really like the Y wedges and now need to hunt down some backups.
The other bad news, is they are officially discontinuing the Baby Blades and the MB5003s. Very sad.

The tour model has a C grind.  I wonder if thats why they arent offering it in the basic model?

my miura fitter told me that the non "tour" is cast and not forged, thats why there's no forged stamped on the hosel and cheaper. trying to push the price lower to be more competitive with Vokey i guess

"Hollow back shape" it refers to ... inside cavity?

Im hoping to get some practice in with my tour model soon.  I have a Fourteen and Honma Tour World in the bag and didnt think about taking my new Miura Tour 58 to the course last week.  Plus......its too pretty to hit.  I almost feel like hanging it on the wall!

Is the main selling point (difference) with these new Miua's having a milled face?

Seems like they were always purist wedges ... NOT jumping into the race (Vokey vs Cleveland etc) of who had the most spin.

Is this right?

Also, hollow cavity in the back mentioned ... what is that, truly hollow for forgiveness?

I haven't hit them yet nor seen them yet in person. I will though. Very soon.

My thoughts are that it's most likely a clubhead you are going to want to demo before hand. Just to get the feel of the head.
