Callaway Apex UT utility irons - are they as easy to hit???

I was recently in GG and I decided to hit the Apex UT.  I'd love to get a utility iron instead of hitting my hybrid.  I found the Apex has a soft feel and did not have a trajectory that was too high.  Did any one have the same feelings when you hit this utility iron??

I have the 4-iron replacement and really like it.  I carry a true 3-hybrid, but needed a club that was easier to hit than a traditional 4-iron but that I could keep down when needed (mostly because I am in the trees enough that I need a good escape club).  The Apex Utility fits the bill nicely.
