Hi all,

Recently I've struggled with my ping i200 irons. Specifically, making a divot. I am a picker, but still, with previous irons, I've been alright with turf interaction. I see that ping has increased the bounce on these irons. My guess is that the bounce of these has something to do with the lack of divots. My ultimate question here is: If I get the ping i200s strengthened in loft, will this reduce the bounce ultimately allowing me to take more turf and make proper contact?

Thank You!

I don't think you will have an issue with the i200s. Maybe also look at the iBlades, they are more forgiving than they look. ;)

Taking loft off your irons will reduce their bounce and make them slightly more prone to dig, if that what you want.  Before you do it ask yourself why you want to make a divot.  Is there a ball flight problem or do you want to take a divot because other guys do?

What Steve said. Keep in mind that if you really like your i200s and dont want to mess with your lofts you can always send them back to Ping and get one of their grind options for your i200s.

If I order some i200's with the Bounce Grind, does anyone know how much this actually changes the bounce. I am looking for them to be a little closer in bounce to the Wilsons I play now. Thanks in advance if anyone can tell me.
