Traveling to Pittsburg to catch a baseball game/spend the weekend. Was thinking of driving. Any good courses between the 2 cities?

I assume you would be driving through Cleveland, so the obvious choices close to the city would be Sleepy Hollow, Manikiki, and Fowler's Mill.  I haven't played the new Valley of the Eagles  on the west side of the city, but it could be on your list.  Further west is Eagle Creek in Norwalk, which is pretty good, but not quite as good as the first 3.  If you want to stop sooner from Chicago, the course in Maumee at the resort is also worth a pay.  Once you're past Cleveland by Youngstown is Firestone Farms, which is in the same category as Eagle Creek in my mind.

Thank you for the advice! I will check them out.

If I went the south route (add an 1-2 hours overall) would it be worth it to play The Virtues course?

Olde Stonewall in Ellwood City about 15 miles north of Pittsburgh. Beautiful and difficult course through the mountains. You won't believe the back 9 routing. Costs around 100 now, 150 peak season.

There's the Warren course at Notre Dame in South Bend. Blackthorn in South Bend is also very good.

The Virtues, formerly Longaberger, was very well liked for quite a while. I've never played it but from all accounts it sounded legit.

Yes, very legit. I played it in 2015, and it was a solid test. Eaglesticks (Zanesville, OH) was also excellent.

Ha, can't believe I misspelled that twice. Oops. Sorry if I hurt your feelings by spelling it wrong. I won't correct you for improper capitalization and grammar. Have a good day spelling nazi.
