For those in the southeast and mid-Atlantic that have Lidl stores, have you tried the Crivit balls?  I was in our local Lidl today and saw them.  The sign in the store compares them to the Vice Tour.  Just wondering how they stack up against other 3-piece surlyn covered balls.  Thinking of grabbing a couple of dozen to use during the winter.

Finally picked some up.  I was surprised that there were very few left.  At $10/dozen, they’ll make a good fall/winter ball. Not surprisingly, they feel pretty firm in the hand. Pro V1’s they are not!

Sorry for the sideways pics...took with my phone.

Cool. Lidl is a strange place. If it were urethane I would be more interested. Although, I didn't hate the Vice Tour when I tried it, so if these are similar they wouldn't be bad at all for that price. Thanks for posting pics.

Yeah, it is a unique store.  Kind of embarrassed to say, but I like some of their store brand beer.  Granted, most of it is brewed by various microbreweries, but you still have to answer questions like "what....you're drinking generic beer?"

Back on topic, probably won't do more than try them on the putting green before fall gets here.  At <$1 per ball, I won't mind losing one (or more) in a pile of leaves.
