Satoshi Kodaira's bag is predominately PRGR.  I see from the PRGR website that the agency in the U.S. is AMH Sports (Olympus Golf) in California.  Anyone out there playing these?  What are your impressions?

Iíve played them for ten years. High quality, Endo forged. Surprised they never gained much of a foothold here. Here are a couple pix. The other club is Mizuno MP-14 (for those that didnít already figure that out!). Iím recently looking for something more forgiving.

I have an EGG pox-03 3W that sees some time every now and then.  I have it shafted up with a PX Black at 43 inches.  The head is sooooooo light!  I have not swing weighted it yet, but it is definitely in the C range.  It is stupid hot, however.  I will dig it out and hit it tomorrow.

Solid clubs, but not a name most people know outside of Japan or Asia.  I've been bagging the Egg HD 3 wood for a few years now and it's a winner. They also make some good irons as well.  Happy for Kodaira, since he gets a PGA exemption with the win and we might see PRGR start marketing in the US.

I have both a PRGR Zoom driving iron and a PRGR Zoom hybrid.  Both very solid and easy to hit.

I also have idbl irons. But I play the TR500 irons. Very similar, but the TR500 have a thinner sole. I had to reshaft as they came with S200 shafts as I remember. I like those irons so much, I have a second set brand new still in the box. Been playing PRGR since the TR500 was released back in 09 or 10.

I think he plays the TUNE 01 MB irons.

Wow, 3 sets of PRGR's nice.  I have heard the TR 500's were impressive, when i was on the prgr hunt a few years ago i was looking for some 500's. Had read they were even softer than the idbl's.  You must really love them to have 2 sets.  Your thoughts on the differences between the 2 irons?

Thanks
