I just picked up a Synergy Black 60TX and I’ve read it’s very sensitive to tipping. My SS is 115-117mph. Currently playing a Pro Orange 70TX tipped 3/4” in 8.5 G400 LST. 44.75” total length. Launch is good, to a tad high, feels a touch soft in the tip but I just want to cut the spin as much as I can.

I play a KKDC XT 70TX tipped 1.5” in my 3wd and love it as well.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

For most, tipping is really more about tweaking the feel of the shaft, the change in performance otherwise (launch/spin) is usually extremely small.  So make the choice based on feel, not on the launch/spin numbers.

Have you had the chance to actually hit the synergy yet tipped or untipped?   If not, that's really the first step you need to take to figure out what might be needed with that particular shaft.  Those other shafts have different enough profiles that the tipping info for them is not really all that useful.

Toll, it was traded for second hand and I can’t confirm it came from you sadly. Thank you for all your data and info you’ve provided though.

The Pro Orange is very very good. The tinkerer in me had to give the Synergy a try and I was able to swap for it. Hoping I get similar launch and a few hundred rpm less spin. Worried the SW may jump a few points more than I like however.
