Today in Michigan it痴 30 degreees on a Sunday at 8:30 am on April 15th 2018. There is snow on the ground! And it痴 freezing rain! I injured my shoulder at work (dislocated it) I had actually came a long way with my swing over the winter. I was chomping at the bit to get out! Then I had my injury. I feel like I知 never gonna get out and enjoy golf lol. This is so frustrating!!!!! I wanna play!!!!! Got my Kirkland balls all brand new ready to go! This is torture!!!!

Your title reminds me of that story about the lady who ran into the back of a little person in her car. He got out of his car and said “I’m not happy!” To which she responds, “Well which one are you?”

It’s not much better down south. Temp is okay in the high 60s but it’s pouring rain. Just a big tease.

I can’t wait to try out the new three piece ball from Costco. I envy any of you that live in the south!

Woke up to find this crap this morning.  Beautiful in the winter, but not so much in the middle of April.  Will delay course openings further.

I hear you Don.  I had shoulder surgery in February 2014 for a dislocated shoulder as well [pretty severe].  Between physical therapy and pain, I had to miss the 2014 golf season and had to listen to my friends talking about their rounds.  Fine now but can you spell jealous?

I too lost 2014 to a partial rotator tear....hated it.

Here in western MA, we just had two beautiful days at the new private course I joined and now it's 30s and crap weather for the next two weeks. Cripes.

Good luck with the shoulder OP....hope you get out by summertime~

Played Wednesday and Thursday, as it was 65 here.  Friday to today has been crappy and it was just a tease earlier in the week.  40's all this week with chance of snow.

It seems everyone, not just on here, is ready for this winter crap to be over and consistent warm weather to stay. Been a long one!

Bring your high wind game, and your rain gear. This has been the wettest and windiest spring I can remember.

Sorry to hear about your injury. Be patient and it will come around and you will be back. Sure the weather has been dismal but it too will get back to normal.

I saw that...pretty funny.

We are getting snow right now too. Eventually the weather will warm up, but it's been a very long winter.

I'm west of Milwaukee.  We got about 1/2" of sleet and ice, which is now being followed by a pretty decent snow.  On Tuesday, I turned to my wife and told her this was my first Wisconsin winter where I didn't run my snowblower.  Now, thanks to my hubris, we are suffering...

Ice storm here in Buffalo yesterday. Beyond frustrated with this April, not even because of snow. It just seems like it been continuously rainy and 38 degrees for the past 2 months.

I'm getting out of this god forsaken state in the next couple of years.  No reason to be here anymore.  Any suggestions?  We don't want california, and not sure I'd want to be on the coast, although I hear the Carolinas are nice.  How about Tennessee?  Nashville?  Looks like they have a bit of the seasons.

I feel your pain. I had a really bad golfers elbow, but from one day playing tennis. Best to get a good PT guy and let it heal. Not sure if a dislocated shoulder will put you out long, but the last thing you want to do is play and practice and it gets worse.

It does suck, I basically haven't practiced in 1.5 years. I have played a few rounds, but it's the practice that pays off for me.

I played for the first time this year yesterday and it wasn't pretty, but I know it's because i haven't swung a club, or practiced since last June 2017, Also still a little weary of going at it, because I never want to feel that pain again.. I'll get it back this season, and you'll get it going soon, just be careful.

We've had slow starts to spring before.  It's not unusual to have a winter storm in April.  I'm just thankful it hasn't been as historic as they were predicting.  Perhaps there's a method in the reporting.  Scare everyone with threats of the storm for the ages and then when it turns out to be less than that, everybody is happy...

My course is set to open tomorrow.  I doubt there will be any takers.  I was actually shocked that the superintendent announced the opening on social media on Thursday considering the weather forecast, but i guess he's anxious for a little cash flow to cover start-up expenses.

I doubt I'll be playing before  the end of the month when we are finally supposed to see the appearance of more seasonal temperatures.  I figure I've waited this long what's a little longer.  I have a feeling that by the middle of June, no one will be complaining about getting a late start to the golf season.  We'll have forgotten all about it!

Your problem is LOFT -- Lack of friggin' talent!

I golfed Tuesday here in Michigan, it was 78. Beautiful. I had to all but beg my son to come along. THEN I told him it might be another month till it was even close to 80, which had him running for his clubs! Both shot 3 over. Great start to the year. Wasn't even wet out, but that looks like it will change in the next few rounds. Flooded everywhere around us.

Hey, live it up. Only so many rounds of golf in a life time...

Actually played the last 2 days here in Seattle. Weather has been wet and windy the last 7 months. Yesterday wasn't to bad high 40's overcast. Today was 20 + MPH winds from the south same temps. Only time will tell when the weather will change for the better?

Actually since the NAO has set up shop everything from the Dakotas to the Carolinas is going to be prone to late spring winter conditions. Nashville and even Memphis got bashed this year. Welcome to climate change. Under these conditions a nice ridge always sets up over Arizona during the winter...

Take care of your injury, so you could enjoy many years of golf in the future.   For the K-Sig golf ball, I could test run it for you and send you the report....LOL.  Actually these are going to be the collector's item in a few years, no more coming down the pipeline.

We're warmer in the NW and the SW, but lots of rain.  County just issues "land Slide " warning.  Which means sliding hill sides and fallen trees....... muddy golf course to say the least.  Funny thing is, no golf course is giving out discounted green fees.  They are on full throttle with the Summer rate ( so is the rate on the Golfnow , TeeOff ),  I'm not that desperate to pay $50 and tread in the mud to punish myself.... they can wait.

I actually called my Costco and the balls are returning to store floors when the weathers right. She said she looked it up. So I’m hopeful
