I have a Ping Zing 5BZ that I bought new in '91or '92 and it was my gamer until a few yrs ago. I kept it clean and there are no dings or anything on the top line. It does have all of the patina from 26-27 yrs of play. Should I clean off all that experience and make it new looking again or just leave it the way it is?DSC_0644.JPG DSC_0643.JPG DSC_0642.JPG

Leave it absolutely leave it. Especially after 27 years. Patina is a sign of being played not babied and adds character

Totally agree, leave it, unless it’s absolutely battered, which yours isn’t. If it’s really bad then a refurb and re tumble will make it look brand new and you’d have a fresh start but you’d have to wait 20 odd years to get it looking like that again.

Looks like the patina will not be coming off. I probably don't have another 27 yrs to get it to this condition again especially now that it's a safe queen!
