Long time lurker here but I need a little help.

Iíve worn FJs for as long as I can remember. 13D.  Iíve never had a problem with fit until I bought the ProSL last week.  The shoes felt good on carpet in the pro shop. On the course was another story.  The fit on my heel never felt right as I hit a few balls on the range.  Add a bit of slope and it seemed 10 times worse.  I tried lacing the shoes differently and tying them tighter.  I couldnít get them to tie tight enough.  Iíve not tried a B width because I need the wider toe box.  The toe box on these shoes felt great.

Any suggestions?  I picked the ProSL because of the reviews Iíve seen and my friends all love them.  And the shoes felt good when I tried them on.

Thanks.

I'm always having problems with my heel slipping out of shoes. I just got the Sketchers Go Golf Focus 2. I love them now they they've worn in a couple rounds. Also have you tried shoes with BOA?

I have the same problem and the DNAs work great. I actually called FJ and asked which model had the narrowest heel and the said DNA. Good luck

Adidas absolutely.  I also have narrow heels and have always found Adidas shoes to fits the best. Great Steve Dallas image too.

I have a pretty narrow heel and the Nike Lunar Vapor Control has worked well for me.  I don't feel any slip at all in the rear, which has been an issue with past Nike shoes.  Its not just about a shoe with a narrow heel.  How far the uppers come up onto your foot and stay away from a really stiff shoe.

Agree with the ecco recommendation.  Another is the new puma pwradapt line, leather or nylon.  Heels have a nice and tight fit...I have narrow heels as well along with the wider forefoot and these are about as snug as anything I've tried.

Adidas as many have recommended.  Also, the Nike TW71 are great in that department (I believe b/c they have a real tongue in the shoe, not the flap from the LCV's).

Sometimes I have to go down in width and up a half size. Narrow FJs are the only golf shoes I've found that fit, and I've either owned or tried on in the store a bunch of different ones. I read in another thread about the Nike LCV so tried them on at Golf Galaxy . . . nope. Same with Ecco and Adidas. I don't think anybody but FJ even tries to make shoes for outliers anymore.

I wanted a FJ but didn't have any luck with them this time.  The ProSLs were wider at the heel than any other FJ I've ever worn (Contours and DryJoys).  I was trying to stay in the $150 range so the Tour S was too expensive to even think about.  The prior season DNA was a little better but not nearly as good of a fit as the Puma.  I tried the FJ ProSL narrow and it was a little tight in the heel (probably would've been okay) but far too narrow in the forefoot.  The Lunar Command was okay but the guy at Dick's said it was at best a one year shoe.  I found the Puma before I tried any of the ECCOs, Adidas or Underarmour.

I'm glad I found something that fit because I was damned tired of shopping for golf shoes.
