What is this? Alcoholic tea plus lemonade, there has to be a story behind this. The only tea over here is Tetley with milk or Earl Grey  for the toffs.

Yes it's a play on the Arnold Palmer drink (Iced Tea and lemonade), but alcoholic because, well, John Daly is an alcoholic.

Pretty sure it's a tea flavored liquid (quite possibly actual tea) with flavorless alcohol added to it. Like Mike Hard's lemonade

I don't think they're fermenting tea or lemonade.

I read John Daly is fermenting it in the sink of his motor home.

With a combination of sweet apple cider and a non-FDA approved large game sedative.

JD is friends with Pat Mcafee (former punter for the Colts, now works for Barstool sports).  He's done several podcasts with JD, but I remember one from a few months ago where he was promoting this drink and told the backstory.  Pretty funny stuff.

He tried to sell a spline truss in Rite-Aid stores a number of years back.  It was called the Daly Truss and was marketed as a "truss you could wear Daily,"

I was playing in one of those drunken charity scrambles a few years ago. On one hole towards the end of the round, a local brewery had a station set up with samples of four of their beers. There was an IPA, a scotch ale, some blonde crap, and a stout. After we’d all had a few (as if we needed any more), my friend, Mike, got a look on his face as if he were about to share a profound revelation he’d just had. With our full attention, he said “you know, I think I like beer that doesn’t taste like beer.” Minds blown.

I had this two weeks ago at Hidden Valley Golf Course out in Corona, CA. They had a special going I believe it was 2 for $8-$10. I wasn’t too keen on the flavor,  tasted like an Arnold Palmer Arizona ice tea Mixed with some well isopropyl alcohol. The  alcohol flavor was really strong for being 8% ABV. However, if your trying to get trashed and crash a golf cart or forget a terrible round, this might be for you. 6/10 wouldn’t buy again.
