So I left my golf buddy tour on my cart the other night, I go back the next morning and the cart had been returned empty. People suck sometimes.

I'm looking into replacement units like the Bushnell Phantom, or the Golf Buddy Voice 2 right now. But I know there are plenty of other options.

I mostly use it for the yardage to front /middle /back of the green, but I did like knowing yardage to hazards and other markers.

I really don't want one that requires a subscription. I like the handheld too I can attach it to my clicgear 3.5 or keep it in a golf cart.

Thoughts?

Any ideas?

I'm looking at some older models, but I would like one that has distance to hazards and distance to clear hazards. I'd guess the recent Garmin and golf buddy has that?

Iíve got the golf buddy VS 4 and I love it.

Wear it on my cap and just tap it and a voice tells me distance to the middle. You have front and back on the the display as well.

I still use the laser on courses Iím not familiar with, but itís very handy on a course I know and if I generally know the pin placement.

Does that have measurements to hazards or the yardage markers?

Nope. Super simple.  Front, middle, back.  Thatís it.  Itís tiny.  About the size of a square watch.  Has a clip for your hat or belt.  They actually have a watch strap option for it as well.

Thatís why I carry the laser as well.  To check bunker edges or trees for carry numbers. If I didnít have the laser I guess Iíd consider something that does more.
