Don't feel too bad; the Blue Jays are up to their usual tricks and it didn't take long either. First inning, a dropped fly ball followed up by a blast and it's 2-0! Then we get to find out why Donaldson hasn't been playing all spring; he can't throw -- dead arm... Just like last year, all this lip service about a high performance department makes me want to puke as one guy after another show up in camp unfit to play baseball. WTF?

I'm a die hard jays fan as well. JD's arm is definitely a concern especially with his salary and Morales already taking the DD spot with Pearce as a fill in. So far though they are 4-2 and spitting a series with a Yankees feels like a steal. Our core pitching looks great but we are one injury away from a disaster in that department.
What little we have seen from Osuna so far looks great. Our new additions as well seem to be on a good track (although 6 games in) I'm a little more optimistic than I was before the season started but considering what the yankees have done and who they have, we'd have to move mountains or catch some serious win streaks to play on the same level.

I'm with you on the Donaldson situation. He still doesn't look right throwing. I won't be surprised if that manifests itself into something worse over the course of the month especially if he is playing outdoors in cold weather. Now Dias is down with back spasms, so there's a question mark there. Not the best scenario to be heading out on the road early in the season.
What's up with Pearce? He has like 5 at bats and a single game start. The last two games Granderson has been playing against lefthanders, so it seems as though something must be wrong with Pearce that they aren't talking about. I get that every team has to deal with injuries, but this is starting to rhyme a bit with last year on the health front. At least there's more depth available to help deal with this, but so far they're not making any moves.
As you have said, at least they are winning so you just ride the success as long as it lasts. Other than the first two NY games they've been entertaining to watch, so that's a good thing.

Snow is expected...but I am not sure if it's going to effect game time. I think the game is going to be played.
Can someone explain to me why the MLB shifted the season forward again?

The players association wanted more off-days through the regular season.
Gives winter ball a whole new meaning, doesn't it?

Now off to CWS where the forecast is for cold and snow. Don't think the player's association was planning the off-days to front end loaded at the beginning of the season. And the Tigers will be dreadful this year.

So bummed he's leaving. End of a 4/yr $20 million dollar deal - literally was like one of the best deals in MLB the last four seasons.

Ya hate to see it. Real shame. Also Derek Jeter on the cusp of ruining his reputation/legend,,,folks, ya hate to see it..
side note I'm giving up on the Reds until they fire Brian Price and promote Barry Larkin to GM. (wishful thinking). What team should I root for now?
