Thanks for reading, Iím look for an app recommendation.

My golf club has a practice ground and I want to be able to measure how far away I am from the practice green, so I can hit shots from 50 yards, 75 yards, 100 yards, etc. In my head it would be like a GPS map that shows my location and allows me to pick points on the map and tell me how far away it is, if that makes sense?

Any help would be great!

I think you can draw lines and measure on Google Maps/Earth when you're in satellite view

I cant necessarily recommend it as I never used it: but the Ranger App would do what you want.  I think I played with it once or something similar once.  Then took it off my phone.  I use my range finder on the driving range.

It simply does what cmagnusson suggested above, but with a measurement function.  It simply looks at where you are, you click on the target and it gives a mesurement.  No idea how accurate it is.

edit: and it also gives the wind speed and direction.
