Looking for advice. I have a chance to pick up a good used set of either Miura MB001, CB57 or CB1008. Searched countless threads and saw a lot if positive reviews on all. I’m at a point of being overwhelmed with all the information. I’m a single digit handicap coming from playing a combo set of Srixon 765/ 965, Titleist MB, Titleist AP2, Ping iBlade and Mizuno MP 100’s over the last five years. All advice welcomed!

Since you’ve done combo sets in the past, consider the MB001/CB57 combo. I did that in the past and really liked it.

I was originally heading that direction til I read numerous threads here stating that the forgiveness is pretty much the same between the CB57 and MB001.

I have tried pxg 0311, mizuno jpx 900 mp18 sc and miura blades Y grind, theres not much difference in terms of forgiveness - miss centre hit will get punished in terms of losing distance. The most important factor for a set of iron is the base grind followed by the offset then the look/top line - IMHO.
The loft and lie angle can be changed easily. If you ball flight is too high with blades in traditional lofts, strengthen the loft by 2-3 deg will surprise you.
Personally i dont see the difference in miura CBs and blades. CBs might be lighter in terms of the weight of the head - hence present a slightly longer distance by improving your SS.

I 2nd this.  For me the CB long irons are much easier to hit. I go CB 4-6 and MB 7-PW but the 6 iron is the threshold for me. Some days I can handle the MB 6 iron. Most days I can't.

I couldn't find a Miura wedge that I liked. I'm steep and need a lot of bounce. I just play Vokeys.

I tried the C Grind and liked them but the trailing edge relief made them play with less dynamic loft than they spec at. At least that was my experience. I play Vokey 50/12, 54/14, 58/14

Are the Miura C grinds similar to Callaway C grinds? Also, what Miura wedges are similar to the Vokey F or M grind?

I play the Y grinds.  I have  51, 53 and 60

I'll use one of two set-ups:

Usually, 54 and 59 (drop the 51)

Sometimes I will go 50, 55, 60

Obviously there is some bending adjustments done.
