Iím just curious. Is there any difference in the face construction on these. I know the Vault 2.0 has the new finishes and weight adjustment. However, is the face gonna feel different than the much cheaper Sigma G models?

Vault 1 and 2 feel identical.  The black finish on the 2s is darker.  Sigma has less feedback to me.

The Vault 1.0 and 2.0 feel the same in IMHO. For the record, Iím a PING guy and I have a preference to milled putters over insert putters.
The Sigma G line are inserts and to me, they for the most part, feel dead and unresponsive. With that being said, many Sigma Gís are played on tour so clearly it works well for many much better than me.
The Vault line is very responsive and gives you great feedback to let you know if you hit a centre or an off-centre hit. As good as the Vaults feel, which is very good, they donít feel as good as the Redwoods.
Just my 2 cents.

Thanks guys. I didnít realize that the Vault putters are completely milled as opposed to the Sigma G inserts. The face milling pattern looks the same so I assumed it was the same feel. I actually like the Sigma G and I usually donít like inserts. However, Im really pining for a Vault 2.0 B60 in the copper finish.

Face milling is the same. One is milled into a solid one-piece putter and the other is milled into a full-face metal insert with a rubbery (Pebax) backing behind it.

Love the look and feel of the V 2.0s, but @ $400 vs. $250 for Sigmas, I'm going Sigma.

The feel of the Sigma G line seems to differ from putter to putter. I love the feel of the Sigma G B60 and Tyne H, not so much on the Kushin.

Currently own a stealth 2.0 Anser and thought about going with a Sigma just to save money... I'm new to Ping putters so I dont remember which model it was but it was like the Odyssey 1w model... That Sigma felt SO hard off the face I immediately wrote the whole line off.  Haven't tried the Vault 1.0 but the feel off the 2.0 is really impressive and it seems to get the ball rolling perfectly, I am really happy with the purchase so far but hoping for our punched greens to heal up quickly so I can get a more accurate read, feels well worth the money so far.

I think the 2.0 line is softer feeling than 1.0...at least in the Voss and Anser. The 1.0 was clanky. Not a fan of the sigma insert feel. Kinda dead.

Spent a few hour putting with all of these. Ended up with a sigma g darby. Maybe it's because I've never used a milled putter. Coming from my karsten piper I've played for over 8 years. But the sigma felt the best out of the mallets I tried. I wanted to like the vault 2.0 pioer but the darby felt so much better to me. Also I didn't like the non taper grips on the vaults. Gamed the darby yesterday and managed to keep myself under 30 putts. Which is very good for me.

I haven't had the chance to putt with any of the Vault 2.0 putters.  I have putted with the Sigma's and I do agree that the feeling is hard and unresponsive.  How would you compare the Vault 2.0 line with the Odyssey O-Works line in terms of feel?

I have both putters and to me the Vault 2.0 blows away the  O-works. I used an O-works for a few seasons now and i loved it until i tried the PING. IMO, you know exactly what you get out of the ping in terms of distance. This may sound strange, but with the ping, it feels as if I can feel the ball on the putter face and my distance control has really improved.
Going back to the O-works for a comparison felt like I was like going backwards in time. The o-works suddenly felt like i was hitting a plastic faced putter. I am not sure ill go back to the O-works for a long long time.  I use a ZB putter and its amazing.

As has been stated the Vault and Vault 2.0 feel identical. if you don't care about copper finish or weights in the bottom pick up a Vault and save some cash. Its a fantastic putter. The sigma line doesn't have near the good feels of the vault.
