Components get very little love on golfwrx, and component putters even less. This winter I been searching for the right putter. Bought and sold a bunch-  TM spider (twice), odyssey 7s, and a few other mallets and  anser styles. I finally landed on THE ONE, at least for now. Golfworks Pure-Track milled 1 blade. https://www.golfwork...tters/p/ma0281/
Now, Iím not a great putter, but the heavy head smooths my swing, the broken sight line helps my set up, and the clean look helps my aim. Plus it feels ever bit like a Scotty or Betti. Try it if youíre looking for a heavier clean blade.

I agree, just got mine assembled and posted a review that had a similar title to this thread!

The Maltby PTM-1 Putter is Awesome!

Wow. What else can you say about this putter? Pairing this Maltby Pure-track Tour Milled putter head with the UST Frequency Filtered putter shaft is an amazing combo and the Lamkin Deep Etched cord grip was icing on the cake! I haven't even taken it onto the course yet, but I am already selling my Toulon Madison and Scotty Cameron because the feel of this new putter doesn't even compare. As others have noted, the dual site line can be bothersome depending on your preferences...my solution will be to remove the white line from the lower flange so that my aiming focus can remain near the ball/impact zone. Thank you GolfWorks and Ralph Maltby for offering such an incredible product at an affordable price point!

You can get the putter with the UST Frequency Filtered? I didn't see the UST flair tip shaft readily available anywhere or does it take one of the other sizes?

Yes, I bought the flare tip a couple years ago from club maker on East Coast. I can look thru email archives if you want -or- try eBay...there were some listed on there a few months ago

Isn't 387 grams kinda heavy for a blade putter?

...I am under 575g static weight so it feels very smooth to me. I suppose this might be difficult if I played on slow shaggy muni greens, but that is not the case. Probably most similar feel to the heavier Piretti putter heads FWIW

Just got one myself and I'll echo the statements of the OP, I love this thing.  Looks great at address(double sight line doesn't bother me), nice feel and puts a great roll on the ball. Also, build quality is excellent, this is my first Maltby purchase and it doesn't disappoint.  Best $99 you can spend on a putter IMO.
