I currently play an old titliest 913d and havent found a driver that goes noticably further so Im still using old trust. I was at my local golf shop and tried out a tour edge driver and hit it farther than any tailor-made,hallway,ping ECT. not a huge fan of the shape and how the tour edge looks but Just seeing if anyone has actually bought a tour edge driver that previous used an OEM driver and how they liked the tour edge on course and how accurate it was and what particular driver

The general consensus is that TE makes great FW's, very good hybrids and...not so good drivers..I just picked up a EX9 Tour and it beat out the M3 and was equal to the M4/epic and it replaced my 915D3.

I have an older tour edge XLD driver I think it is and love it. If i put a good swing on it, it is as long as anything else I own.

I've heard good but not great - feel was a little hollow to me in the EX10 and XJ1 - try them, they are different drivers in terms of launch/spin.

If your 913 is correctly fit to you, you wont find anything that goes farther. You could find more forgiving, and more distance on mishits. But not if you hit both in the center.
I think getting advice from guys who are sitting at the computer in their underwear while taking a break from porn is a very solid way to choose clubs. - bluedot

I have a couple of old XCG drivers from TEE.  Probably not as long as more modern drivers, no adjustability, very solid, lovely head and a great impact sound.  Hard to hit a bad hook as well.

I bought a TEE EX9 a few months ago and really like it.  I really wanted a Ping or Cobra but both spun too much and turned a fad into a slice.  The TEE spun quit a bit less and made for a tighter dispersion.

Interesting, they are on sale at the GG near me. Might at least go test one

They made as good a driver as anyone ~4 years ago with the XCG7 and XCG7 beta. I gamed the latter, and it was a beast.  Very much a "player's" driver, with adjustability allowing for a variety of fade settings, in addition to draw. (Don't take my word for it though, the beta was one of the top performers in that other site's independent testing that year for higher swing speed players.) I found the E8, EX9 and EX10 to be reasonably solid subsequent driver offerings, but not on par with the best of the best drivers in those years (or Tour Edge's own fairway offerings bearing the same names, which IMO were competitive with anybody else's), as Tour Edge fell behind TM, Callaway and possibly others in the driver market. Really wish they'd step up their game with the big stick to match their most excellent fairway and hybrid offerings -- the CBX line is fantastic. . They seem due for a new driver release, unless they've resigned themselves to only offering the XJ1 driver and not a "player's" version or separate line.
