Just got fitted for a new set.
Taylormade M3 460 44.5inch stiff

Titleist T-mb 3 iron. 1/2 inch short
Kuro Kage 85 stiff

Epon 503 4-pw. 2 strong. 1/2 inch short. Stiff Nippon Modus 120

48 Vokey sm7 f grind
54 Vokey sm7 s grind
60 Vokey sm7 d grind
All 1/2 in short.

They are being built hopefully as I type this. Pics as soon as I get them. They had by far the best dispersion and distance of all the clubs I hit.

Callaway Apex
Taylormade p790
Pxg 0311xf
Titleist ap3

I was gaming vapor fly pros by Nike. Glad to see those go.

that is a very interesting set. why was the pxg0311xf in that list? thats more of a epon 705 than the other irons you tested.

glad its working out for you

I'm not sure why they gave me that iron. I hit it particularly well also but the epon won. I guess I have a unique swing and that's why they suggested 2 strong. I was told I was delofting the club at impact. Was at 202 carry with the epon 6 2 strong.

did you try the af705? man thats one long club and its use is not particularly confined to the GI/sgi market

I hit the 503 and knew right away it was the club for me. distance was not my concern, feel and dispersion was the goal. Was carrying the 6 iron 195.

100%, however I couldn't justify 400 for. Gap wedge.

My epon irons performed great this weekend. For the weather condition they were long and felt great.

A guy golfing with me hit my vokey forged 50* and said it felt nice.

Can't wait. It's been 2 weeks, no clue how long they should take. I'm going to Carl's golfland tomorrow to inquire while I hit a small bucket.

As I showed up to hit a bucket of balls I inquired about my order. To my surprise the epons were ready for me. It was too packed to even find an open bay. The rest of my set comes monday.
Got the head covers on eBay. Didn't want these soft irons clanking into each other

Ive owned my 502s for many years. Never heard of Epons way back then but nothing has ever felt as soft and accurate. Each year I hit the latest and greatest from US manufacturers and its not even close.
