im sure there is already a forum for this but I do not care, am I the only one who thinks the black ping putter grip is by far the best? Also, im not sure why but I am scared to put this grip on anything non ping bc of fear that it will look strange.  yes I know Tiger does.  so what grip do you use if your putter and putter grip are not the same brand.   I dont want to hear 'Superstroke"

The Lamkin Deep Etched is a great non-OEM grip that blends well with any putter. Also, the Golf Pride “Pro Only” grip is very similar to the standard Ping PP58 without the Ping branding.

I use one on a non-Ping putter. I'm sure that makes you feel much better 😁

I use it on a Scotty and yes, itís probably the best grip in my view. The Iomic midsize and Lamkin deep etched are fantastic if you like a little more texture.

I don't worry about what others think about the appearance of my equipment.  If I feel that the Pingman grip is the best (I do), I will use it on any putter I want.  Don't worry about what it looks like or what other people think.  You will be surprised to learn that most don't care........

I use it on my Nike Method. Always have liked the smaller grip and it feels really good. Tried the golf pride one at some point but it felt even smaller.

Thanks for all the responses. I’m not to worried about what others think but it just don’t think using another putter brand with a grip that is different. I’ll have to look for the Lamkin deep etched. Either I have looked over it or they don’t sell it near me

the PING "Pingman" putter grip it is the best damn putter grip anybody has or ever will make. it's so perfect I'm terrified to even think of removing the one from the older Anser that I'm currently putting with. the thing has been on so long it was from back when they were still making them in the USA.

Pingman grips are the best, plus they are cheap and easy to find.  I put a new one on my gamer at the beginning of each season.

I went from ping to pure standard (similar to ping man) to iomic 55 standard to super stroke gtr tour. Today was in dicks and they now sell the pp58 pingman. $7. Bought 2, installed them, won’t ever go back to anything else.

Get a Golf Pride Tour Tradition.  Virtually identical to the Pingman.

Pingman is my preferred putter grip as well. Put it on most all of my gamers over the years (old never compromise milled, odyssey xg 9) I'd put one on my byron morgan now if my back was well enough to play golf, prefer it to the leather that I had byron put on it lol. I do like them with 1 extra layer of tape.

Also, anybody that knows anything about golf will see your pingman on an off brand and know whats up. It's the grip of legends.

I gotta ask, what is it about the original Pingman grip that everyone likes?  I find them so small that I feel like my hands have a death grip on the club. For that reason my go-to is the Pingman midsize.

I like the size, shape, and softness. I'm on the border of regular or midsize grips and it just seems to fit my hands/grip perfectly. I tried the midsize and it was just a bit too big.

Interesting point - standard and midsize are slightly different at different brands. Took a lot of trial and error but finally settled on the Ping midsize as the right one across most of my putters.

The standard Ping is a little small in my view. The standard Lamkin deep etched is closer to the Ping midsize and I like it a lot. The Iomic putter grip is closest to Ping in terms of standard being similar in size to standard and midsize to midsize.

I use the old school ping man grip on a vault 2 ZB.  I do think its a little thin for me though and a freind of mine has a slightly thicker version that I may be investing in.  Cant stand any of those big grips cant believe its becoming as prevalent as it is
