It's nice not wanting to play, so I can sit and watch golf again, never knew how much I missed watching TW play!

Vegas has Mr. Woods at 6-1 favorite to win bayhill.

They must have a very confident source about his health to lay that line.

The last time he was a favorite at bayhill it was 2-1 in 2013 which he won.

Rickie those boots are an insult to Arnie. He had class. Look it up in the dictionary.

One of my favorite tournaments of the year. I'm excited for this week. This is when the beginning of the golf season kinda begins to start with the season's real start happens at Augusta. This is when the weather changes here in the north east, well, it's supposed to, not happening for weeks, and the hint of spring begins.

While Rick's shoes may not be everyone's cup of tea, and while Arnold had an amazing style, he wasn't always on point with it. See exhibit A below.

Its a very fan friendly tournament because you can move around very easily. You can catch alot of holes and groups.Lots of birdies on the table. its changed so much over the years. Players cutting corners like crazy now. I was there in 97 when phil won. He went driver driver on the par 5 11th or was it 12th and made eagle. today guys are reaching with irons!!! Im sure it will be a great tourney and its a shame the king wont be there on the 18th anymore. Would be awesome If Jack or Gary would host in his honor.

I get why Saunders is doing it, but it really needs more of a known. I think Rickie is lining up to be it.

Favorite AP story....

The Hickock belt was given to the best pro athlete. At the ceremony in 1960, Roger Marist saw AP, and thinking golfers aren't athletes, said to AP, "wtf are you doing here?" They announced the winner, and it was AP, so AP turned to Marist and said "wtf are you doing here?!?"

Yup, maybe you're right. Id just love to see someone big like Jack alternating. I know he does the honda and memorial and maybe its too much for him at this age but for him to come in sunday and fill in for Arnie would be special. Jack and Gary being there would be awesome.

I get people’s feelings about the shoes but keep in mind why/what he is wearing them for. He had nothing but respect for the King and they maintained a great relationship. He’s doing a lot with puma for charity and if anything, those shoes are getting people’s attention which hopefully gets the charity attention as well.

Could it have been done “more tasteful” by puma? Sure but it is all subjective. And at the end of the day, Ricks honoring the king!

Perfect words about this week from Tiger.....

“Just because I won here eight times doesn’t mean I’m going to win this week automatically,” Woods said. “I’ve still got to do the work.”

Good thing is that Fowler is an honorary co-host of the event this week. Perhaps he has a larger role coming in future API tournaments.
