Maybe late September in south Florida is too hot, but why not?  Awesome viewing angles for spectators, TV, and a great layout that seems to be getting better and better.

Umm, any course that allows Paul Casey to shoot a 65 on Sunday isn't worthy of a municipal championship. They should literally be ashamed of themselves, not be celebrated.

In fact, the PGA tour shouldn't even come back here.

Seriously, a guy who's last and only win came at the beginning of the Obama administration comes out of nowhere to win a tourney. That literally hurts the soul of America.

Dude, he went uber crazy in the middle to late part of his round.

Made very good players look bad.  J rose and Patrick reed both looked amateurish at times on the back.

That guy needs to realize that these guys are all incredible and able to go hot at any point.

That's fine. I'm sure Mrs Casey (both his wife and mother) were excited to see him win, but the rest of America wasn't. He will disappear back into obscurity where golfers of his caliper belong. May God have mercy on his soul.

No, he'll just go to Augusta and finish in the top 6 like he has for three straight years.

The important thing here is that the PGA tour learns from its mistakes and something like this never, ever happens again.

What a rotten, rotten day for golf.

It's actually probably too hard for a Ryder Cup.  Not enough true scoring chances.

I wouldn’t call it out of nowhere.  He dealt with a lot of injuries and a divorce I think,  came back really strong last year I thought he should/could have won a couple of times recently.

But sure, poor ‘merica,  this means so much in the grand scheme of things!

Edit:  and no, no Ryder cup for copperhead,  there are so many other great venues to choose from don’t water it down.

If we're talking measuring devices, Jeff Sagarin's Power Rankings saw this coming. Casey has played well recently.

Sagarin is pretty well respected in the ranking/rating/gambling community.

I believe when I invest multiple hours of a weekend day in sitting in front of a TV, it shouldn't be punished by the WWE equivalent of a "jobber" catching lightning in a bottle and wrecking the weekend of millions of viewers. It is just a cruel, cruel joke from the golf Gods.

May the golf Gods infest his crotch with 10,000 fleas.

Wow, been on WRX since 2008 so you've seen a thing or two.  This has really gotten to you triple - you're off your game.  It's time to regroup and quickly because API is almost here.  Get prepared.

(Sigh)

Triple, I have news for you: Tommy is a star.  This is going to be a rough season for you.

Tommy is not Tiger, so he's not a star in that way but Tommy is a savage.  At least he has been the past 12 months.  He's top-tier euro.

Fleetwood is star power, so is Sergio, and stenson, and mcilroy, and matsuyama, and even as far as Adam Scott (another 2 first namer).  Golf is global not just for ‘merica and if that’s your lens you are missing out.

Paul Casey hasn’t won as much as he should, but damn his swing is sweet.

But SERIOUSLY, no, copperhead will not get a Rydercup.

I will be ready, but a win by Fleetwood may put me down for good. I need some star power damn it. Not some WWE jobber taking a chair to the face for my viewing pleasure.

Fleetwood is star power, so is Sergio, and stenson, and mcilroy, and matsuyama, and even as far as Adam Scott (another 2 first namer).  Golf is global not just for merica and if thats youe lens you are missing out.

Paul Casey hasnt won as much as he should, but damn his swing is sweet.

But SERIOUSLY, no, copperhead will not get a Rydercup.

Stenson and Hideki are NOT star power, unless you like watching a guy lose his cool over hitting a fairway 2 feet off center.

"I hope Fleetwood pulls this off".

I'll take "Things people are NOT saying in their living rooms for $1000, Alex"

The course looks cool on TV.  No idea if it's R. Cub worthy.

I’m just trying really hard to help him with his initial question :)

Lol.

I like Copperhead more than most of the other FL courses they use on Tour.
