I vote for R11 and Optiforce 440.  I have both, were well under $100 each, in very nice condition.

Cheapest drivers that are still playable at nearly pro levels (imo)

For a low spinner, sldr.
For a playable model, 910 d2.
For max forgiveness, ping g 10-20.

This one!.. :good:

The re-designed-for-2015 SLDR-C Driver has it ALL!..

- Very Forgiving - A vast improvement over the original, 2013-2014 SLDR Drivers!
- 460cc Head - Very Easy to Hit!
- Excellent Distance with Straight ball flight - No draw/fade bias at all!
- No gimmicks! - Bonded hosel, with a 'speed slot' in place of the slider, (as with the M2)
- No need to 'loft up' - Go with the 9.5* loft!
- Classic TM look - Beautiful gloss black crown!
- All Titanium - Solid Feel and Sound!
- There's not a better driver clubhead than this at ANY price!
- A few are still available 'brand new' on ebay - Click the link below for one example!

New TaylorMade SLDR C 460 Driver (9.5-) - RH- TaylorMade SLDR 57 Regular - eBay

Headcover Small.jpg   A 'truly forgiving' SLDR Driver is a beautiful thing!.. :yahoo:

sldrcCrown2.jpg Love that 'classic' gloss black titanium crown!

sldrcFACE.jpg          Solid feel and a 'hot face'

Note:  The stock shaft fits a wide variety of players, but I recommend you get fitted for the shaft!!.. :aikido:

I have a Miyazaki Kusala 61s in mine!  Kusala61.jpg

I still have a TM R11s which is still a great driver and i still game it on occasion as it flies way higher than my current titleist setup so if i'm playing a parkland course i'll play my R11s.

Im sure you could get one of these for that price with a decent shaft, i wasn't a big fan of the TM Phenom but managed to get a Fujikura blur TS65 in mine when i bought it.

I just picked up a Ping G20 driver in very good condition on eBay from a well known seller (Global Golf) for $77. It was listed in Value but clearly was 'Very Good' IMO. Came with the TFC 169D Tour shaft as well--an upgrade when it came out a few years ago.

G20 is pretty well regarded and I can't complain thus far.

Actually my gamer is a great driver for what they cost now i just realised you can get one for about £85; not sure of condition tho.

Titleist 913 D2 with Diamana D+ 72g

I dont think it matters how old it is as drivers have been maxed out for some time.

Another vote for Cobra.  Just bought a ZL Encore off eBay for $30 shipped.  Last year, acquired VG-Excellent Fly-Z+ and F6+ heads for $60-70 each.  LTD heads hover around $100 these days.  Once you have a shaft or two you like, no need to buy complete clubs.

Callaway X Hot

i just replaced my XHot with the aforementioned GBB.  For me, the GBB is just so much more forgiving and that flat black crown is much nicer to look at than the weird gray.

if you can find it, the Big Bertha V Series is also stupid easy to hit.

I use a Callaway Razr Xtreme Fit With a Black Ozik shaft, it's awesome.
Just ordered all the weights for it from China.

I'm sure tech has passed it by a bit, but I still love it.

I just ordered one for £89 and its in pretty mint condition, I want to try it but my old man needs a new driver so i'll pass it his way and that way i have it to play with :) its got a matrix ozik 7M3 Black Tie but i'll order an adaptor and stick a regular flex in it for the old man.

Great list, 905R or Ping G2 G5 are also great and even cheaper.

These are just my picks but all of them are solid. I could play any of the above mentioned and be happy.

I hit a friends TM R11s the other day. (I sold mine years ago, and regretted it.) Great club.
Also Titleist 913D2 was one of the straightest and best feeling drivers that I have ever played (in my opinion)
Titliest 910D2 has an almost cult-like following by a lot of folks as well
I'm sure that you could find any of these for $100 or less.

Side Note: A guy who I give lessons to came into the shop a couple of months ago to ask me if the driver that he just purchased on "offer up" was a decent club. I couldn't believe it when he brought in a 2017 TM M1, that he purchased for $75. It had an ugly sky mark on the top and some dings from being mistreated, but it was completely playable. He said that the guy was just getting rid of it because he was mad about the sky mark.
