Lastly, I play all my wedges to the same length as my PW. That's just me personally. Its nothing technical, just a comfort thing. I'm tall and it feels better. I can always choke down.
But something to consider.

That's a good idea. I'm close to 6'4" and my irons I was fit for are all +.5" in length. My wedges are all +.5" but not PW length. I may have to try it.

I'm 6'4" as well. Lifelong baseball player convert.
I had a tendency to sway a little towards the target when taking 1/2 to full swings which caused inconsistent strikes and ultimately inconsistent distances. I've really worked on keeping my hands in front of my sternum and rotating around my left leg. I use a dodgeball between the arms when practicing. It's helped tremendously.

I'm in the same boat... 6'3" and also sway toward the target. On full shots its not a problem cause I have time to get things back to square.... Not so easy on 1/2 and 3/4 shots. I'll have to try the dodgeball trick.

Fitting for wedges is just like the rest the bag. A lot is built around preference. Doing a fitting is worth something to try different shots, which is the biggest reasons for the different grinds. If you were just hitting full shots with wedges everyone would have an F grind with different bounces.

Same. That wasn't something I was familiar with. I'm always interested to try new drills to get a different feel.

To those of you that go 52 and 58, what are your thoughts on getting a 54 bent to 52 to have more grind options?

I like the vokeys bent strong 1deg, it changes how the club looks in a good way! i've got my SM6s all bent 1deg strong for the gapping but the added bonus of less bounce and better looks is a bonus! Duno what 2deg would look like but remember it would reduce bounce 2deg so like my a 54.08 would be a 52.06.
