I am a bare minimalist when playing golf, and have only the absolute necesseties like pitch repair tool and ball marker that clips to my hat.

One thing I have been considering is a digital scorekeeper so I don't have to mess with broken/lost pencils, and to not have to carry or deal with scorecards.

Does anyone have any experience using them or are they pretty much a joke?
