Ok is relative, I suppose, but yeah, we're a functioning, happy (mostly) polyamorous triad. In certain respects, envy is the appropriate response, in other respects.... well, think of that bitchy friend your wife has that teams up with her against you whenever you are on shaky ground. Now imagine she lives in your house and has also seen you naked. Two sides to every coin lol

unless you're being highly facetious, this is quite possibly one of the most fascinating things I've ever read on this site.

A bag of left-handed junk

My wife comes home and says, "I shot 77 today, what did you shoot?  Me "grumble, grumble, grumble, $#@**!!".  Her response, "maybe you should not change clubs and putters so often."

She does not practice, knows nothing about her swing and still plays her clubs from the late 1990's.  She only carries twelve clubs, because having more is a waste.  It makes it hard for me to live like a true WRX'r

Not quite. They're not really into each other, physically or romantically. They're both into girls , just not each other. They're friends, partners in crime and shopping, but not girlfriends. Some polyamorous relationships are work like your diagram, some dont. That's kind of the beauty of this type of relationship, no one defines it but the people in it.

And no, not facitious, and I'm sure that some on here disaprove/ think it inappropriate,  however the most important thing we learn in golf is honesty, and I've never heard a stupid question. :)

My wife just started playing last year, and really loves the game. She also jumps right in with all the perverted comments that arise from my clubmaking hobby:

"Is that a stiff shaft? I know you think a flexible shaft will work better, but I prefer stiff."

"When do you stick the shaft in the hole?"

"Kind of funny that the parts of the club are the "grip", "shaft", and "head"."

"Wouldn't anyone be better off with a longer shaft?"

Backstory: My wife knew i was golfing and i told her i would pick her up after from the airport. Timing went bad.

Wife: I have been waiting at the airport for 20 minutes where are you?
Me: I am stuck in traffic can you just catch an uber
Wife: No you were supposed to come get me
Me: I know babe, but the traffic is really bad here
Wife: You are on the golf course arent you?
Me: No sweet heart, the traffic is just bad
Wife: Dont lie, you are still golfing
Me: I am walking up 18 right now ill come get you soon... we just got held up at the turn... I love y...
Wife: (hung up)

But it usually ends with "you are still golfing arent you?"

The UPS dudette just showed up. I met her at the door. As coincidence would have it, Mrs. Sprinkle is working from home today. Quietly, so as not to disturb her while she’s busy, I open the box. As I unveil the new jewel, Mrs. Sprinkle appears, and with a sprightly smile, says “who said you could get a new golf club?!?” Explaining myself, I said “ten bucks, left-handed.” She said “Well, Bobby’s not afraid of it (Bobby’s one of our cats) and now Jude (our neighbors’ nine year old) has a new box.

One of my friends' wife doesn't play, but enjoys riding around with the rest of us golfers (my wife loves to play) when we holiday together.  Late in one round, after her husband (a 3 handicap) had been having a tough time in the sand.  He finally hit one on the green, and his wife said "That was a pretty good shot.....for you".  Now we always compliment Lisa (a master of dessert-making)..."That pie was really good.....for you."

My wife gave me a nasty one today...

"You need to play golf at least twice per week from now on...  That's why we moved to a country club community."

I knew she was a keeper.

The GF and I played a round with a buddy of mine, and witnessed him making his first eagle - draining a 40-footer coming down the slope. He was ecstatic of course, and offered to treat us to lunch after the round. He picked up his wife and met us at the restaurant.

At the end of the meal his wife inquired why he's buying. After he explained 1) what an eagle is and 2) how thrilled he was about achieving a golf feat, she proceeded to give him the death stare.

The GF of course didn't miss this chance to remind me how lucky I am in comparison afterwards.
