No, just no.

I am waiting on delivery of some MB-001 seven through pitching wedge.  I saw the MC-501 the day after I ordered and my club fitter asked me if I wanted to cancel my order and go with the 501s.  Nope.

Too complicated a design.

Very interesting.

Anything in particular that really jives with you when comparing the two?

I'm a Baby Blade and CB-57 guy myself. I wouldn't play the 5005. And in all likelihood, I wouldn't play the MC-501 either.

In addition to the Baby Blades and CB-57s, I enjoy the look of the 202, 301 and 5003. Don't own any of those, but like their shape. If I was forced and HAAAAAD to make a decision on acquiring another set it would be either the 202 or 301.

The MC-501 is the X-Large version of the Baby Blade with some sort of "cavitiness" to it!

Is there truth to this or are you just having some fun?
Just having some word-smithing fun.
But it fits the look and design ...at least in my opinion.

some comparison pics all look like the same sized head!

It looks like a new version of Callaway for me. Too expensive for that.

I just had a fitting with the mc501 and I was blown away.  Surprisingly very forgiving and long.  I was hitting it against my pxg 0311 and they were the same distance even though pxg is 3 degrees stronger.

I then though I was god and tried baby blades and suddenly I was terrible.  I was 15 yards shorter.

Bottom line is I am not a blade guy but the mc501 was amazing and I am going to order them
