Ever since discovering them a couple of years ago, they are the only grips I will use. Durability, tackiness, and ease of installation are what make them top notch.

I'm still going through what I purchased from the year they came out.  4-6 years ago ?
The only complain I have is the paint in the logo and letters stretched out and broke after awhile.  Guess they were trying out different formula at that time for the paint.
I like them all black anyway.

Yes. They are basically the same. I use midsize wraps and I'm not really sure what the differences are other than it now says "midsize" on the butt end of the grip rather than the letter "M."

Yep. All you need is a little 3 gallon, 100 psi compressor. I got mine for under $60. Here is a link to the one I bought.

I've got three or four air compressors, the one I keep in my home shop is a pancake, a Porter-Cable I bought at a farm sale.  Any little compressor will work, but I would stay away from Harbor Freight if you want it to last.

Doesn't need to be from Harbor Freight. I was just giving him an example.

Any type of the Pneumatic Compressor will eventually break, not designed to last .

One thing to consider for the small unit.  They are noisy, they take time to get up to the pressure and frequently needs to re-boot while in use.
Nothing wrong if you just need one to install and remove golf grips.  It's basically useless for any other air tool

Big fan of the midsize and Big Dog putter grips.  The latter has been my 'go to' on counterbalanced putter builds.

I have the Pure DTX in white -- still feel good and I've had them on since 2014 and play 3-4 times a week!  Occasional wash and they are good to go.  Put them on with air.

I have been playing the Golf Pride Tour Wrap G2 grips since 2011.
I really love the tacky ness but any sign of them getting wet & they turn into grease, I hardly ever play in the rain but the odd occasion that they have been wet, made for a very interesting game.

If you have access to a newspaper with today's Parade magazine, there are Harbor Freight coupons on the back page.  You can get one of the previously mentioned air compressors for $39.99.  I've used one for 2+ years with no issues, other than the fact that they are loud and need to refill often if you're doing a number of clubs.  They do get the job done.

I've been playing the Pure Pro for the last 3 years or so.  Love them, especially tacky when new and very durable.  However they are very slick when they get wet.  Even if my hand has a drop of perspiration on it the grip has very little grip.  I have just picked up a few DTX grips and they are tons better when wet.  I think I'll be changing to DTX on all my clubs.

I do my own club work so it's a huge benefit to be able to blow them on/off with the air compressor.  I use a 3 gal Husky compressor from Home Depot.

Awesome thanks man.

The oil lube 8 gallon is a fine one or the 21 gallon if you're going to do a bunch of grip plus some light duty handy work around the house with air tool.  They had the on going 20% off coupon all the time and 25% off coupon on Holiday sale.  ( check online for coupon ).  The oil lube model tend to last a bit longer.

You will have the same issue with the p2.  I ended up buying rain gloves.  Im a fair weather golfer so 9/10 times it isnt an issue - but the popup shower comes and things get interesting real quick.

Ever since discovering them a couple of years ago, they are the only grips I will use. Durability, tackiness, and ease of installation are what make them top notch.
Do you use an air compressor?
Yep

Still using p2 wraps! I hoarded them for awhile. Tacky, durable, made in USA.
Me too. Can't think of a grip I have liked more.
@kody. Have you tried the new wraps that replaced the original p2 wraps? I havent, just curious.

I have a set of blue p2's on one set of irons I ordered in 2014 or so. They are super tacky, and tack up quickly again with a quick wipe of a wet towel and drying with a waffle towel. I put some red P2's and white p2's I ordered in late 2016 or early 17 on and they are still pretty tacky but not as much so as the blues I have. The newer ones seem to have a more "buffed" finish whereas the older ones have a more glossy finish. The older ones also have paint fill on the details around the end of the grip and the butt, whereas the never ones only have paintfill in the "PURE" logo at the bottom of the grip. Anyone noticed this too? I still like the never ones, just loved the uber-tackiness of the original ones.
