I really like my ez forged. Pushed out my cobra one lengths for now, at least.

Didn't hit em very well on my first range session (definitely not the clubs fault) but hit them real well on the simulator tournament I played on Saturday. Usually about 175 on my cobra fly z+ 4 iron, was hitting some solid 190s with the ez forge 4 iron. Really like the feel of the project x 6.0 shaft too.

Got an Epic driver from the 50% callaway trade in deal too, finally saw a driver swing speed over 100, now I just need the weather to break so I can get outside and golf nonstop! (and stop spending money on golf clubs and spend money on ACTUAL golf!)

Got my JPX-EZ forged set, and promptly strained my shoulder on hole #4. Was able to suffer through the round, and liked the new irons, although my distances were inconsistent as I was swinging to avoid pain. I get to wait a few weeks of healing before trying again. :(

Thanks tinman....pretty sure it's minor. I have full movement without pain, but a couple of times a day I'll tweak it and it reminds me that I am hurt. Gives me a couple of weeks to work just on putting and chipping, which is definitely needed!

I hope so,because I’m slowly recovering from rotator cuff & bicep surgery..it’s hard to have patience knowing that I won’t be playing anytime soon.Mine felt like a pinched nerve;until the MRI...

"Forged in Japan" - the consensus is that forging in Japan is 7.4% better than forging in general, but only 6.1% better than forging in Kazakhstan.

Are you looking for a more game improvement type iron or more of a blade iron?
The JPX EX are more GI, the MP15 are more blade.
I would say your current JPX 900 Forged fall right in between.

I am currently playing 716 AP2s.

Are the MP15s closer to Titleist CBs?

Are the JPX EZ Forged closer to AP3s?

I need to update my sig, but I am back to my older Cobras.  I liked the 900 forged but I was limted playing last year (kids) and was just to inconsistent with them.  Looking for more of a GI iron now, so the EZs would have been perfect!

Thanks for the information

I'm not incredibly familiar with Titleist offerings so I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
I would say the MP15 is closer to the CB than AP2.
The AP3 and JPX EZ forged are also pretty similar in my mind.

Cool. Thank you. I like my AP2s but wanted to try out the LZs. Currently gaming PXi so may just end up staying with the AP2s

I just got my EZ Forged. They look a lot nicer than I expected. Compared to my 716 AP2s the blade length is longer and there is more offset. The offset is not as much as most GI irons and the sole is not very wide. They look very playable.

It’s definitely bigger than the AP2 but I was surprised at how much I liked them. Especially the finish. The finish probably makes it look a little smaller. I think the AP2s are prettt small

Add me to the list of folks with these new clubs but canít play them due to injury. Injured a rib wrecking on my mountain bike like an idiot. Probably out 2 weeks minimum, but may take 6 if this is as bad as my last one when I crashed wake boarding. That was when I was 20 though, I would imagine at 39 it may take longer to heal. Bummer, they were playing so well too. At least they will be there waiting.

This makes the 3rd year in a row I have had some stupid injury completely unrelated to golf that has sidelined my play for a month or longer. Really frustrating.

Hope you have a speedy recovery!  I tore the labrum in my hip and was out 6 weeks...pure hell cause the weather was nice here in north Texas.

Took my EZs out for a 9 hole spin yesterday.  Mid and long irons are great. They are super forgiving. I was all over the face yesterday and still made several forced carrys over water. Definitely confidence inspiring. They look decent at address as well. PW and GW are not to my liking. They look too fat and not very playable. I didn't  see a forgiveness  benefit from them. Cleveland CBX wedges would be a great complement to this set. I will keep them as a backup set.

Ditto on the wedges. Just took mine out to the range. Gap seemed OK. PW didn't feel too great. Offset seemed visually more pronounced than the others. All the other irons felt great though.

I've played 2 rounds with mine. They look great but think my swing isn't liking them. Will end up BST this week. I knew I shouldn't have ditched my 13 jpx ez's.
