Oakmont, Pine Valley, Augusta National, none of the TPCs, Congressional, Firestone, and Merion are some good ones.

I used to be a member at Eugene when I lived in Oregon.  That is a very unfortunate logo redesign.  Their old logo wasn't great but I know they paid a consulting company alot of money to come up with that logo.

It looks like a child drew it.  Certainly wasn't worth the 5 figure consulting fee they paid to have it done.

People love sleepy hollow, and i think the idea of the logo is good, but the execution looks like a 3rd grader did it.

Also aren't they completely blowing it by not having the head be a golf ball?

Too many indian logos... I wear philly cricket and people ask if I am a black hawks fan and when I wear Seminole people ask if I went to FSU

And Philly Cricket's and Bala CC's are almost identical. Not ideal, especially when they're 20 minutes from one another.

I like the simple whale in the Maidstone logo, the hare (we saw one on the course when we played) in the Waterville logo, and the quirkiness of the National Golf Links logo.

I also like our Rolling Green logo (see avatar). It's from a weathervane found on the property years ago.

I like the ones you immediately recognise like Merion, Maidstone and Cypress. No names required.

The worst, anything where the name of the golf club (GC) or an actual golf club is intertwined around a shield. Any Latin on a course built in the last hundred years is pretentious as well.
