after playing the original "white board" in a stiff shaft for years I was fitted for the X stiff Blue shaft in 70 grams.  I've loved that shaft on my 915 Driver.  (my understanding is it has a little higher kick point and softer tip, but who knows)   I didn't have to pay an upcharge to get that shaft with Titleist.

that shaft seems harder and harder to find with other brands.  I'm considering an M4 or or Epic/Rogue swap for this season.

I know there are lots of members on here with technical knowledge that far surpasses my own.  any help would be greatly appreciated.

What other shafts out there have a similar dynamics to the Diamana Blue at X stiff 70 gram?

The Tensei Blue will be similar.  Diamana is good they keep the profiles similar through all of their product lines so it makes it fairly easy to understand the new lines characteristics..  Atmos Blue probably pretty close too.

I wonder if Taylormade would let me have a heavier Tensei Blue shaft (around 70 grams) in xtra stiff without charging me extra......   It isn't listed as as option on the website.

Try to find an original if you can

I still play a diamana blue 63x in a 3w

Atmos blue is a good recommendation

that is probably the smart thing to do.  I found the exact shaft (Diamana Blue 70g xtra stiff ) online for $120.  it says it has the SLDR sleeve.  that should fit with the new M3/M4 correct?

Any of the blue profiles will work. Kai li, B series, Bf Series, tensei. If you can find a 73x o.g. blueboard Id go with that, still a great shaft.

I just went from the 62g S+ to a original 63g BB and there is no comparison. The original shaft is so much smoother and a way better fit in my '16 M2 head.

Nothing is as good as the original. The newest version B series comes close, but the Kai’li and S+ were not close IMO

I play a MFT Kai'li in stiff, and love it. If the real deal was better, I've got to see it.
