Hello people.
I picked myself up a putter second hand. But it's a tad long. It has a superstroke midslim 2.0 counter core. I would like it removed, putter shortened and reinstall.
Has anyone removed one of these (and save it) and got any tips or ideas.
Thanks
Tim

There are a ton of threads on this - I know because I just did a search for it over the weekend.  If you search 'how to save a superstroke grip' there are a solid amount of threads and answers there.

In short, it can be done but takes some solid effort and a little time.

Sorry to just redirect, but after reading them I just decided to cut the old one off and install a new one... wasn't worth the hassle to me.

Quick update. Success!!
Steps were:
Remove counter core and replace with air fitting with plumbers tape.
Pressed hard against air fitting with air gun for tight seal.
Quick short blasts of air saw that grip come off nice and slowly and under control.
No solvent needed.
