Maybe he could pay tribute by not being a wonker?

Bryson = David Simms ?

David Simms is WAY cooler than Dorkson DeSham-Bo could ever dream of being.  The idea of David Simms being real...he'd be my favorite golfer of all time.

Places 2nd at the US Open by laying up...very smart.  Cashes a huge check.  Has to listen to some bum pro who made a 12 on the same hole to lose the US Open by a lot....say Nice Par David.  As he leaves with your woman.  What do you do?  What do you do?  You walk off the 18th green, find the hottest woman at the course and say, " Hey Darlin', you ever been behind the ropes?...well then, come with me.". Ya that's right...David Simms is cool AF.

David Simms is real, we know him as Fred Couples, they just changed it for TV

Is Fred couples not nice in person?  I hadn't heard anything either way .

LOL! That's the same knob jockey who called out Steph Curry last year for getting a sponsors invite.
Not sure why McCoy explicitly mentioned "Colombians", you'd kind of expect to find Colombians in Colombia I'd reckon.

Classless & Spoiled. No other way to describe it, what a d-bag.

Having been in that position before... and I'm not even a professional or famous, I can certainly see where McCoy was coming from and his point of view. I wouldn't have put it on twitter though. Lol

Eviscerating someone when you weren't there and don't know the whole situation is classless and a d-bag move in my opinion.

Wonder if these types of instances will stain and tarnish his image to the extent of a bit more tanned golfer.

The irony is there are so many golfers who are Divas and headcases at times and some are all the time. There is a inconsistency of how they are perceived. We villianize some, give others a free pass (often more than once) and turn a blind eye to most.

I couldn't believe the PGA is letting the crowd video from their phones at the latest tourneys.  In the tourneys here in NC they do not let you film the golfers.  They tell you "no phones, no phones!" Over and over .

That's fine and I respect your opinion. BUT! - There is no need for me to know the whole situation as Lee has given me all the evidence of the situation I need. Plus various other tour players having been in the same EXACT situation didn't feel the need to provide their unsolicited "life lessons." It's called playing the game. You sign the autographs (even if it is abhorrent to you) you take selfies, & you go on with your day. You keep your unpopular opinions to yourself and your circle THAT'S IT. No need to go on twitter and flame these kids who are more than likely poor and don't have the opportunities Lee has has.

So no I don't see where Lee is coming from because he's never had to deal with any hardships any of those kids have had. He, like Bryson are just a couple of silver spoon goons. Who when they look back on their actions, will realize (hopefully) "Damn, I was a real jerk at times."

Honestly I just listened to a Podcast with Johnny Manziel, and he is man enough to recognize he was a spoiled brat, and he is now working everyday to improve himself and how he is viewed. But he still recognizes its a work in progress and he doesn't have all the answers. The former two, have yet to reach such a self realization.

How are "being on the spectrum" and torette's related?

No need to play coy, its not exactly uncommon for poor children in poor countries to rush foreigners and ask them for money, the shirt off their back, the shoes they're wearing, etc.

But why he thought he needed to "teach them a lesson" or give them a hard time in public who knows. Just makes him seem like an a-hole. I mean just give them a signature or a hat or ball or something and move on with your day.

I'm not, I am trying to avoid misconstruing anyone's point, hence my question.
I'm genuinely unsure what he means by this: "I can certainly see where McCoy was coming from and his point of view"

should have done the math on PI to infinity, or about 1000000 decimals.  That's 22/7 for those counting.

On hole number 3 today at Pebble Beach Bryson DeChambeau had a complete meltdown. I have been following golf for 40 years and have never seen anything to this magnitude.
It started with his drive which was left. No one could find the ball and we were all looking. The pros , the marshals, spectators, everyone helping but we couldn't find it and Bryson had to go back to the tee. He reteed and than hit his third shot in the fairway bunker. He flew his fourth shot over the green and it looked to be OB and hit a provisional but his first shot was deemed to be in play. He couldn't get a Club on the ball so he took an unplayable and ended up dropping g halfway down the 17th fairway. During this time he slammed his iron on the concrete, was using profanity and was extremely agitated. I think we have all seen this before maybe even done this before so no big deal. After he hit his 6th shot which landed in the rough by the green he screamed at a marshal and because he felt like the marshal wasn't doing his job right. To me that's uncalled for , everyone was trying to help this guy.  He than chipped in and marches to the next tee. On the fourth tee he takes off his jacket and purposely throws it on the ground so the caddie would have to pick it up. I get it that he's angry but this guy takes it to a whole other level. Jon Rahm gets criticized for the way he acts but he gets angry with himself, Bryson lashes out at marshals and treats his caddie like crap. I find Bryson interesting but cannot support that kind of behavior
Earlier in the week I rode in with a Marshall who said last year he had helped Bryson find his ball on the 12th at Spyglass and didn't even get a thank you even though he saved him a lost ball penalty.
Before this week I was a fan of this guy. After today I'm anything but. He obviously knows when the cameras are on and when they are not and feels like it is ok to act in this manner when it's not televised. At last years Masters he kept looking into the cameras and smiling and waving and earlier this year they showed him zip lining with one of the tour wives.
In addition there were a few kids with the Puma Hogan cap walking in his group which was first off the tee. So the lesson they learned it is ok to use profanity, scream at marshals, treat your caddy poorly and blame others for your mistakes. He's still young so hopefully he will improve on this behavior.

This isn't his first episode... i was a professional at major held in 2016 and he was by far the biggest @$$ in the field. I honestly can not think of one time that he was even remotely kind.. not a good thing to say about the guy. he's the next bubba watson, he'll say everything right on tv and play the religion card to draw in that following... he's a d-bag

Bryson = David Simms ?

Fred Couples is cool.  Fred Couples can pull down some seriously hot talent.  Fred Couples is a winner.  Fred Couples has probably been crappy to some fans, as in less than 10.

Fred Couples pants don't fit right...and therefore is no David Simms.

Let's check in on Lee McCoy in Colombia...

http://www.bunkered....ensitive-tweets

Can you expand on where was McCoy coming from?

Pretty clear to me. A pampered life where just about every bite of food was served on a silver spoon

Hot talent?  Hmmmm.  Me thinks you mean the Mitsubishi Air Lady he accidentally proposed to with a golf tee.
Lol

Not surprised. McCoy is a UGA grad. That pretty much guarantees a d-bag 97% of the time.

I’d lay off him and give him a break. Pretty sure he’s on the spectrum, and I wouldn’t rule out Tourette’s. It’s not cool to make fun of people with disabilities. The guy basically plays mental gymnastics just to use the restroom. He gets a pass from me.

I dont agree in the sense that he's literally autistic.

Is he "autistic" in a common parlance way? Sure seems so. Rigid thinking, obsessed with routines, tinkering, socially awkward. And in that case it's actually very cool (and fun) to bully him. Maybe he will tone it down to the benefit of everyone, especially the children, watching him at events.

I wish someone in the gallery had captured his meltdown on their phone, that video would be a classic.

I believe Aspergers is probably more his condition if we are looking at the spectrum.
Asbergers is no longer a condition. Its all classified as ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). Ive worked with kids who have Autism and Bryson isnt even close.

Bryson problem is similar to Hideki's; they are both trying to be perfect. Its not going to happen, you are going to hit bad golf shots.
