I'm going to cheat and give you two options: expensive and economical

expensive - Tour AD DI
economical - UST VTS Silver

Both have different weight options as well.

I’ve had the ad di in 85 and 95 a few different times over the years, and while I liked them I personally found better options out there and wasn’t in love with them. Especially when taking the price into consideration. Nothing wrong with the ad di, just not personally for me. I’ve got the ad di driving iron shaft in a tmb right now, and while I want it to work I’m not so sure my results are going to be any different than the di hybrid before.

At one time I put a Proforce in everything I own.  Driver, woods, hybs.  Love it.  I'm boring now, have Ping shafts in the hybs.

I have a S flex in my X2 Hot 13'  3 Wood and a S flex in my 3 and 4 hybrid. Tipped just right. Been playing for years. See no reason to change. Inexpensive  shaft of the highest quality. I play a AD DI in my driver but have not felt the urge to mess with what works. No matter where my swing is on a given day I can always depend on my 4 hybrid, just can't miss it.

Id prob go Aldila Green.  Cheap easy to find and seems to do the trick....

But please don't tell me I have to play a hybrid, we don't get along well at all.

What would that shaft be? I'll start, and I don't even have to think about it- Matrix Ozik Altus. The original deep red/ maroon one. I wish they weren't getting so hard to find these days, or I would play it in every hybrid I own.

What say you, what's that hybrid shaft you love the feel, flight, shape, etc. so much that you can't live without it in your go-to club?

(I have ulterior motives asking this- I am in the process of cobbling together a couple of different projects, to fill a specific gap in a new set I built recently. I didn't come across nearly the number of Ozik Altus shafts I normally did in the past on eBay, so I figured now might be as good a time as any to experiment with some new hybrid shafts.)
I have an Altus, the one you describe, in my 4h. It is a very good shaft but I find for my swing it does balloon just a touch. It's very good for a 4h though, something I do hit into greens every now and then. For a hybrid I may use off the tee from time to time, or maybe something I want to use to hit a long punchy shot under trees that can chase for a bit, I would not pick Altus. I'd probably need something with a more stiff tip, which... I am currently in the process of looking for. Potentially a Tensei Pro Blue which would still give smooth feel but tighten up the tip area to keep the launch down a bit. Always interested in AD-DI because it's hugely popular on tour with guys who use hybrids.

Mitsubishi Tensei Pro White 90tx hands down. The profile suits me quite well and it spins over 600rpm less than anything else I've hit.
