Playing S55 and really thinking about going to on the current blades ( MP18, P730, 718mb). Pretty good iron player and was curious if others have switched to these after playing S55 and what you're finding. Sucks when it's winter and you have to ponder your bag for 3 months without playing.

S55’s have been great for me.    Super forgiving in the long irons. Really do not see anything new being any better.   I have played plenty of forged irons and to be honest I do not miss them at all.   Only ones I truly miss are my mb2’s but they were a little tricky for me in the long irons.   I would think really hard before switching or do a true head to head when you try new ones

not 718 MB but I bought 718 AP2 (I'm an old Blade player, MP69's and Titleist Tour blades)....hated the AP2, switched in a week to Mizuno MP18 SC and its like coming home..........beautiful clubs, great feel and sound. Waiting on my custom order to arrive but expectation is high

Hit the S55 the other day, every time, they impress me.  Haven't tried the Mizzys but have tried the 718 MB.  They feel wonderful and seem to be much more forgiving than one would think.  If it were me I'd keep the S55 or go 718 MB.  I have never been impressed by any Mizuno iron I have tried, but that's just me.

S55 are awesome!  Feel better then all those blades except the mizunos.

I donít find the mp18 any harder to hit then the s55. S55 are basically a blade

I play the S59s  and want to hit some S55s.
Love that style.
Tried out some  MP18 SC the other day. Shaft was a KBS 130 super  light or something.
Even though  they were x stiff, the 6 iron went 10-12 yards farther than my S59 6 iron

went from S55s to MP-18s near the end of last season and i havent looked back since.  in terms differences, i would say the MP-18s offer more workability and a bit more accuracy, but also a little less forgiveness on those toe shots.  thinking about going to the Apex 18 MBs now, lol
