Whatís the deal with these? Seems like every pro has their towel on their bag. Anything special over a regular towel?

This is correct and if you want to drop some $$ on a towel I think you can buy them on the pro caddies website.

Amino is still around....certain players use them, others use Jani. They are the two biggest towels out on tour

It's just a way for companies to get their brand out there

So, you can buy a Jani towel from the Aptc (the official caddie website for the towel) for $15. Certain caddies use them as part of an obligation by their player with the connection to the company. Others use Amino Vital (really good stuff btw). There are some others who use a blank white towel (Tiger/Bubba), and then theres some random companies like RBC/Johnnie-O/Aqua Hydrate, they're all pretty unique.

Then there's Speith who rocks the AT&T logo and Rickie/Dechambeu who rock the Red Bull towels.

I know all this b/c I spent the better part of 4 days at an event trying to get every different sponsored towel. Managed to get them all and have a nice collection now, they are high quality stuff.

Thanks for the info. For those interested, it's $19.99 on that site. Never thought about spending money on a towel vs "borrowing" one from my gym. But tour posers need to have a legit towel, right? Thus... just ordered one!

It's just advertising for companies. Nothing special about the towel. I really like the Spotless Swing towels with the velcro fabric on the inside for cleaning grooves. Gotta get me one of these next time:

I'm most excited about my towel. It my fav piece of equipment and the only piece I know how to use properly. It was borrowed from a hotel pool and has a blue stripe on it. Tour level stuff.
