The swing videos he posts on Instagram are so pure. Too bad it doesn’t translate much to the course. Maybe a W this year.

I think losing the John Deere last year gutted him more than we know. Obviously I am pulling for this Indiana guy. I know he has a lot of talent just hoping it all comes together for him this year. #GoColts

What is that red shaft and why is there is a hole in it below the grip?  Does it also serve as a dog whistle?

That is the Golfers Toolbox training aid. It has a grip on both ends, and the holes are so you can set it on top of two spikes that you put upright in the ground and rest the aid on top of it for a raised alignment line.

The 7.0 isnít the surprise given how hard this dude swings.  The bigger surprise is that he wasnít snapping 6.0s in half mid swing.

There is a lot going on with that putter between the long neck, offset, odd lie angle adjustment(?) to the hosel, tungsten plugs in the sole, and the counter balancing grip

Joe Toulon told me one time he really had to crank on that putter to get it the way they wanted it. Lots of custom work there

If they have time to load that putter with weight they have time to put a hozel on it properly to achieve the desired lie and toe hang. Maybe it was a last minute change at the course but either way looking at that doesn't make me want to run out and buy one.

I agree that thatís not how I would want my partner to look. But I think Patrick is OK with it. This is the second time period heís used this putter. A fascinating note about the head it is extremely heavy. Has to be over 400 g But thatís what he was looking for. And I would say that the head/neck/hosel was done on site, till they got the results. I doubt theyíre going to start selling them that way, if you know what I mean!

If you look at the putter at address, it looks great. Profile looks like it got run over by a train and it was straightened by hand! But again the view down the shaft at address, looks really good
