GolfWRX is live this week from the Monterey Peninsula in California for the 2018 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, where participants play Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill GC and Monterey Peninsula CC's Shore Course during the week.

Notable professional golfers in the field this week include Jordan Spieth, Dustin Johnson, Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy (for the first time) and Jason Day. Of course, the Pebble Beach Pro-Am is also stacked with celebrities, as well. Some of those notables include musicians Toby Keith, Jake Owen and Darius Rucker, actors Bill Murray, Larry the Cable Guy, Alfonso Ribeiro and Ray Romano, athletes Justin Verlander, Aaron Rodgers, Wayne Gretzky and Larry Fitzgerald, and defending pro-am champion Carson Daly, who won the pro-am portion of the event alongside Ken Duke in 2017.

Spieth ran away with the professional competition in 2017, winning by 4 strokes over Kelly Kraft, and by 5 strokes over two-time champion (2009, 2010) D. Johnson. Spieth will be back in the field this year to defend his title.

That flow neck round back with the clean back and simple alignment line on the top is exactly what I have been looking for. Now, if it was only available for a price less than a kidney!

Greg, any chance of an Adam Scott witb? Very interested if the long putter will be in play. Also heard he may switch to the V1x. Wondering if that will be the case. Enjoy the week and thanks for the great work!

Ha I have a huge rant dealing with this situation but will save it.

I noticed this putter as well and thought I saw a FB slant neck in a previous thread. Wish these would be offered retail. I wont pay $3500 for a putter so I guess I can just look and drool.

I never thought about this before, but why do putter companies bring a full range of putters to events? Is it just so players can try out different putters? How often do guys switch from their normal gamer a few days before competition?

Lol, he can be a bit much.
He's a staple in the Greater Hartford Open Pro-Am and is always good for some antics.

Tragically, he lost his wife in a car accident here in CT last year.

He set the new record for most clubs in a bag, 28.  It was 26 with Ben Martin at Houston last year.  His caddie counted the clubs when they walked out and there were 26 and after the Titliest Rep added two more drivers, new record.
