Yes, and half of that time was spent lining up the stripe on his ball. I hate playing with golfers who use a stripe to line up. They are almost always the slowest players on the course.
with you on this one. I deliberately line my ball up with nothing but white staring back at me.
I agree; that stripe deal should be illegal. it's a waste of time and really doesn't work
I use it, but only as a general guide. I don't fidget with it and try to make it exact because I know speed is the most important aspect of putting. Line doesn't do me any good if the speed is off.

I'm sure it's probably a big money maker but in honesty it's probably past time to demote the pro am as a strictly Wednesday even prior to the actual tournament.
