So this is what my Golf Addiction has led me to.  A 34 degree Range Session.
When I got there even an Englishman looked at me like I was crazy.

Did anybody get out in the low temps too?

Played 9 a couple mornings ago. Mid 30s with a strong wind. Even with sunglasses on, my eyes were still watering. I told the Pro that I wasn't sure if my eyes were watering or if I was crying! Didn't accomplish anything except get a good walk.

Done it many times. My range does have heated bays but the wind doesn’t always cooperate so I throw on extra sweatshirt when the wind blows my heat away.

Yes, been there done that, when I was much younger.    Time to stay warm inside when the windchill gets below 36°.
When you're young, one is invincible, when you're older, the body just refused to bounce back as swiftly as it used to be able to.

I'll have a nice cup of hot tea and enjoy a good golf read in my Lazy Boy.  Weather should clear up a bit next week, we shall see.

I will play if its above freezing, and not raining. I hate cold rain. Walking and good layers make golf playable down to freezing IMO.

The last few times I played have been below freezing. It's either play in that weather or don't touch the clubs for a few months.  Easy decision.

High 20s Fahrenheit isn't bad.  Below 20 starts to get a bit much even if sunny and calm.  But I've done it.

I have only missed the week the course was closed due to snow. In the last 60 weeks I have played around 140 rounds and I live in NYC. BTW it's hard to play when your eyelashes freeze to your bottom eyelid. Get some great layering clothes. : )

I will play in that temperature but our clubs range balls are so bad that practicing is futile. They don't get airborne or fly far enough to show what it is really happening.

The last few weekends we've had to wait for it to hit 35* before going out and playing in the mornings. This Saturday was extra cold with the wind.

The group I usually join up with played on Saturday with the temp at 32 F. I opted out and got in an hour long range session followed by 27 holes on the sim in 64 F temps with no wind.

Typical range sessions in the winter here in New England can be down in the 20's, especially at night.  Also playing in the 20's as well when courses are open.  Golf addiction in full force here and besides it's great for stress relief (unless you're playing badly).

Hit the range yesterday, was around 37. I'll play if it's cold. I'll play if it's raining. If it's both, I might think about it.

Local range has heated bays so it's not a problem. BUT- this year they did NOT put up the dividers as they normally have in the past. they made it much more comfortable and kept the heat in a smaller area. I was usually down to shirtsleeves after 5 minutes. But I draw the line at times due to wind and temps. If it's below freezing over night, the balls will sit in the water that they were washed in the previous night so they get really hard and I have to chip the ice off the balls. Or if the wind is blowing strong out of the W or NW- it is straight in your face and no amount of heat is going to stick around from the heaters.

I hit balls on Friday in sub 30*F temps, 25 mph wind right to left (hurting a touch) -- it's not good for the golf swing.

There are 1 or 2 outdoor ranges and a couple of year-round courses around me but I don't bother. I do my winter practice on sims/flightscope/foresight. My limit is usually 35-40 if it's sunny. If overcast/rainy I'm staying home.
