Just as the title reads..
Where do you buy your hats?

From your local pro shop, brick/mortar store (which one), online retailer (which one), direct from manufacturer?

I really need to up my hat game and am curious where you guys like to buy from.

Ross or Marshalls. Usually $10-12. Can usually get something Nike, Adidas, or Puma. Occasionally I've seen Callaway

I buy from courses I like.   Prefer them over a brand hat.

"Ik ben groot" is his handle and means "I am big/tall" in Dutch.

I think buying standard OEM hats, is not really Upping your hat game.......... That's all.

Roger that, I understand now.
I agree that buying oem hats may not be the best way to go.
I just have a hard time finding hats that look good on me.
I have become slightly OCD on the fit/look and such

No idea what style of hat you like but I am pretty picky with hats as well.  I almost exclusively stick with flexfit hats.  Here are some good companies, most of which are smaller companies, that make really nice lids.  Travis Mathew, Greyson, Jones Golf Bags, Matte Grey, G/Fore, and probably a few I'm forgetting.  All have their own website in which you can purchase from or can be purchased from sites like Trendy Golf or Fairway Styles, etc.

I’d never buy without trying them on.

I can try on 10 and only like the fit of 2 or 3. Buying on line for me would be nothing but frustration.

Most all of my hats are from the pro shop at courses I visit.

Usually at my last shop and fave course RTJ Grand National.  Sadly, I have left the area...have been disappointed in last few Titleist hats...bacon brim or stiff after a few sweaty rounds.

I'm very particular about my hats as well.  I like a more squared off look, but not too boxy and not too high.  Also I have a small head so that makes it tough. Below are what I have right now:

Nike, bought in store, IMO the most comfortable: https://www.dicksspo...3488_&rrec=true
Travis Matthew also bought in store at Golf Galaxy.  They don't offer the hat I got anymore but it is pretty comfortable and a good fit also.
Jones golf.  Took a risk and bought online.  Not as comfy as the Nike hat but I like the look of this one the best: https://www.jonesgol...t=3443063881754

Agreed on those recos.  I'd add RLX as well.  Their version of flexfit's are sweet and not too flashy.  but I can't wait to wear my new G/Fore 'Chasing Birdies' hat this summer!

I've been big on Imperial hats and 110 mini pique by FlexFit (the company) lately. I used to be a flex fit (the style) only kind of guy, but I've recently discovered with my receding hairline, that the combination of sweat and the elastic band on the inside of the hat really irritates my forehead. I really like imperial hats because they're all cotton and break/wear in pretty nice, and it's always cool to have a hat from a really nice club you play (you can also buy generic ones straight from their website). As far as the 110 by FlexFit (the company: i know... confusing), I was given one by Zac Blair with The Buck Club logo on it, and I think it's the most comfortable hat I own, but I haven't seen one for sale since. I know that doesn't really help, but I implore you to try one on if you ever see them in a proshop. You can buy them straight from FlexFit's website, but they're all blank if I'm not mistaken.

Most of my hats come from golf courses I've played or my home course. A few come from Ross/Marshalls. I had a few I loved and wore into the ground so I had to toss them. Best was this one Under Armour one from years back. It was light weight, adjustable, and absorbed sweat really well. Plus it had a normal brim unlike some of the nike hats with the funky brim. Really wish I could get more of them but oh well! I also like the Bridgestone flex fit hats but it's impossible to find them in M/L and the L/XL is just a smidge too loose. I considered getting a custom order of nice hats with my company logo on them but the jury is still out on that.

HI, my name is Dexter and I’m a hat addict. I probably own 60 and probably give away 25 or more every year.  If it don’t correctly fit, the road it must hit. When I walk in the hot weather, it’s going to be an unstructured clima-cool type material hat from Adidas, or UA, or one of my favorite teams, because it’s going to get thoroughly sweated through and thrown in the washer.

If it’s not so hot or I’m riding, or for casual wear, I prefer variou low-crown flex-fits that are usually branded Adidas, UA, Puma, New Era (Yankees and a million others), and A-Flex (Make a lot of wicking hats for clubs, as does Imperial). These get rinsed in cold water with a bit of soap and hung from the shower head.

I seem to notice people aren’t too keen on Black Clover, probably because they don’t have a tour staff, but I love their hats.  Their S/M fits me perfectly, i get compliments on them on and off the course, and I’ve picked up several very inexpensively on clearance. Plus I don’t have to worry about being that guy with the Nike hat and the Adidas shoes.

I don't like the look of unstructured hats on my done, therefore I gravitate towards the low crown, flex fit or new era line.
