These sure don't scream "Miura" to me. I always equated Miura with a classy, no thrills look. Theses look like there's an X-Wing fighter sculpted on the back.

I understand the reason we see these intricate MB designs they have nice curb appeal but I'm not sure what actual performance benefits they accomplish. BB

Moves CG, can be quite significant. Like MB1 design from Callaway brings CG to same place on each iron and balances on the same spot in the middle of the face when unshafted. I imagine this accomplishes something similar.

These look sexy, I get that the purists are cringing but can a company like Miura really survive selling only Baby Blades to a niche within a niche? Mizuno has those GI irons as well as MP18s I think it's fine.

I read on another forum that Miura will present 3 new irons this year, perhaps one of them will be a pure blade?

Nevertheless I have to say that I like these a lot!!! Does anybody know if one can order only heads from Miura, or if there is the possibility to order a set directly with “exotic” shafts?

Also the first thing which came to my mind when I saw the pictures was that those like a bit like the Bridgestone Tour Bs, with the mass behind the sweetspot.

Definitely a departure for Miura. I can understand why longtime fans might be less than excited by this head. Nonetheless, I don't have a strong reaction one way or the other. They seem pretty understated, IMHO, when compared to a number of current blade designs in the JDM.

That bad eh? It's just a golf club...

I think baby blades and more exotic looking heads can co-exist within a brand, it's no big deal and a wider audience can enjoy the quality that Miura is known for

Agreed. It is really sad. Their domestic website is a mess and their staff has no clue about their offerings if you call them. These things look like tourstage meets rac mbs. Another site has views from address, they are hideous.

Muira slowly adding junky, busy irons since being acquired. Slipping away from their heritage. Things like that hideous Genesis set, that they are so proud of they won't even put their name on it..

Agreed. It is really sad. Their domestic website is a mess and their staff has no clue about their offerings if you call them. These things look like tourstage meets rac mbs. Another site has views from address, they are hideous.

Haven't seen the Address picture yet.

I personally think these are gorgeous.  I understand the opinions of those who say they're too busy and gimmicky, but to me, they're extremely sharp.  That said, I'm much more a fan of the Epon feel over Miura (though not a fan of the way the Epon design is going aesthetically).

A bit too much going on here for Miura, but it is different.
