Just got a new set of clubs. Coming from a Ping I3+ set. Hopefully transition is smooth.

Cool man. I'm getting a full bag fitting in the next few weeks. I've been playing the same Nike irons for the last 5 years. Can't wait to get everything

Grats man. I still game my 714 Ap2's, but the 716's look classy as well.

Best feeling AP2 IMO....  haven’t tried the 718 but tried all the others.  I think you will be very happy once you get used to them.  Good luck!

Great set of irons.  Has the looks + they are remarkably forgiving for being in the "better player" category.

I get annoyed when people say they aren't as "workable" as blades.. I'm pretty sure if Speith can win majors with it, it'll do just fine for us lol.

Love my 716 AP2s. I'll keep gaming these until Titleist comes out with something that can beat it...which nothing in the new line can IMO

Glad that you like the 716's still. But based on strictly looks, the 718 line is definitely more visually pleasing than the 716. That being said -- I can't comment on feel or performance, but my 718 AP2 seem to be pretty solid!

718 is a throwback to the 714 with the updated color scheme.  The 718 look really good.  The 716, not so much.

I bought a new set of 716s on sale last season and absolutely love them. I'm surprised that some posters don't like the looks--the black and chrome are right up my alley, but I guess it's all subjective, so go with what you like best.

I love the feel of them, though, and the look at address. I'm getting new midsized GP Tour Velvet Supertacks put on tomorrow and can't wait because I've been playing well with stock grips that are way too small for me, so having grips to size should shave a stroke or two off my cap in no time.

I'll be gaming my 716s for a few years for sure. Golf golf golf golf golf golf....

Do you guys find that your clubs nick easily?  The set I bought had some of the black paint chipped off.  I guess thats the nature of forged club.

Love my 716Ap2s and they look great to me. Great ball flight turf interaction  and feel. Very forgiving as well.

No issues with paint chipping.  Bag chatter is typical for a forged club.

I recently obtained a new set of AP2 716 3-AW and reshafted these with Nippon Modus Tour 120 stiff shafts.  These were gripped with Best Grips Augusta micro perf grips.  I swingweighted my irons today and have to say I am not overly impressed with the quality of the weighting of the iron heads.  To preface this comment I had used equal amounts of epoxy to shaft each iron as not to add more on one club than another to potentially affect swingweight.  Each shaft is cut 1/2 inch difference from 3 iron through 9 iron.  The PW and AW are 1/2 inch shorter than the 9 iron.  The grips are within an ounce of each other and I used the same amount of tape of each grip (yes, I have a cutting board that measures exact length of tape).  The swingweight for the irons are as follows:

3I - C9
4I - C9
5I - C9.75
6I - D1
7I - D2
8I - D3
9I - D4.5
PW - D3.25
AW - D4

I prefer my irons from 3-9 to be D2.  I can live with a 9 iron being a little more.  I like my PW around D4 to D4.5, my GW to be around D5 to D5.5.  My LW is generally around D6 to D7.  My irons are now swingweighted to D3 (3-8) thanks to some lead tape. PW is D5 and AW is D6 with my current LW being D7.  Good thing I have a swingweight scale and some lead tape.

Picked up a set late last year. Love them. Hard to go wrong with Titleist.
