Probably mostly higher quality control.  More like Opus vs Overture.

Music or cartoons

I can’t get opus from bloom county out of my mind.  Overture was a marvel super hero wasn’t he.

Sometimes tighter specs, usually centered around weight and loft, and sometimes slightly different construction to allow for modification, like with the Nike SQ2 woods and how they made the necks longer to allow for bending. Nowadays though with adjustable clubs I imagine it is simply pieces from the factory that are weight/spec sorted and given different serial numbers for tour purposes. Like the Tour Issue Dynamic Gold shafts being weight sorted standard DG's.

Rolex vs Tag Heuer in my opinion.  Both can tell you the time, look cool, however, one is just "better".  Some people might not agree, but they just dont "understand".

This. Iíd say thatís the only difference.
As you walk down the fairway of life you must smell the roses, for you only get to play one round.
